The Saddlery Cottage

Beautiful converted cottage in the grounds of an historic Victorian country house in rural Wales. Wood-burning stove, Wi-Fi, stunning views of the Black Mountains. Perfect for walkers, cyclists, garden-lovers, or horse-riders of all ages. Just 450 yards on a private drive through the estate from a barn which sleeps 8 (see 'Eco-Barn in the Brecon Beacons'). Ideal also for larger gatherings. Dogs welcome; a maximum of two permitted. The cottage is located on a 19th century country house estate of about 10 acres of gardens, lawns and woods. There are three bedrooms - a double ensuite on the ground floor, and two upstairs bedrooms (two doubles, one can be made up as twin beds) that share a large bathroom. A double-height kitchen and an open plan living/dining area with a banquette, a woodburning stove, two large comfy sofas and fabulous views. One side of the cottage looks onto a cobbled stable yard, and the other onto its own garden, then beyond that parkland, Llangorse Lake and the Black Mountains. Fabulous restaurants and farm shops are within a short drive as well as the lake, with boating facilities, beautiful walks out of your front door, and great biking trails. An all-around perfect location for a peaceful holiday in rural Wales. The cottage has its own entrance and parking, also its own garden with a table and chairs. Guests are welcome to explore the grounds of Treberfydd House, and are free to bring up to two pets. My husband and I and our family live a couple of minutes' walk from the Saddlery, and are available to help with any questions guests may have. Completely rural idyll - Perfect for those who want to escape the city and drink in the joys of the countryside. You would need a car to get around. Wellies are recommended, and good walking gear advisable for the hills. Booking is normally for a minimum of three nights. Between November and and March we offer a special rate for a Friday + Saturday booking with a late checkout of 4.30pm on Sunday. Please contact us for details. Magic Mountain Cottage: family- & dog-friendly

There is nowhere quite as magical as this: an historic, creaky cottage, at the end of a farmers track below Cader Idris. It's a back-in-time experience, with wooden beams and antique furniture, owned by the same family for over 60 years. Please read all the details carefully before you book. It’s remote both in location and from modern life. You have space, fresh air and tranquillity. It's comfortable but nothing fancy. No TV or wifi, but a woodburner, books and massive views behind the cottage.

The beach and historical promenade are just two streets away, along with a wealth of amenities right on the doorstep.

Betty's Cottage - Beautiful, rural valley.

Relax in a beautiful, detached, cosy stone and beamed cottage nestling in a peaceful, wooded valley where nature is thriving. Rustic and comfortable . The cottage overlooks a stone bridge and small river on the Carmarthenshire/Pembrokeshire border. We are doggie friendly and are happy to welcome well behaved dogs. The perfect base to be in nature, walk, cycle and explore many scenic areas of this beautiful part of West Wales. Betty's was built in the 1800's and is a traditional, stone cottage.

Gwarcwm Farm Crog Loft Hot Tub and Riverside Sauna

A crogloft is a traditional Welsh mezzanine, tucked away in the eves. Somewhere to quiet retreat to. Gwarcwm's Crog Loft is at the heart of the home, an old farmhouse beautifully restored. We hope you will love it as much as we do. The house is attached to a small field that slopes steeply down to a river at the bottom. We've recently finished building a sauna next to the river and installed a wood-burning hot tub, making this a perfect place to wind down when the day's adventuring is done.

Hen Efail - Old Smithy

Recommended by the Sunday Times (12.09.21), Hen Efail is close to Cors Caron (the largest raised bog in Britain), the Cambrian Mountains and only 30 minutes' drive to the beautiful Ceredigion coastline. Its village location means it is only a short walk to independent shops, restaurants and pubs. Hen Efail has spacious rooms, yet maintains a cozy country feel with exposed beams/stonework and wood burning stove. It is good for couples, solo adventurers, families with kids, and pets.

Spacious 3 bed House overlooking Aber town centre

My three bedroomed house is a typical terraced house, but step up through the front door, it opens up into a modern spacious accommodation, over three flours. Situated in an elevated position overlooking the heart of Aberystwyth, the quiet neighbourhood becomes a peaceful haven when the daily hustle and bustle settles down. Enjoy superb views of the townscape and distant sea view. Only a short walk to all amenities. Shops, train station, busses 7min and promenade and beach 9min.

Rockside, stunning sea views, family home

Rockside is a stones throw away from the beautiful blue flag beach of Borth. It has been renovated to offer a stunning 3 bedroom holiday house with open plan kitchen and diner downstairs and a living room which opens out onto a balcony upstairs for breathtaking views over cardigan bay. It is within walking distance to local shops, cafes, restaurants and boutique cinema. You can enjoy the beach and coastal path on your doorstep or take a drive inland to nearby Aberystwyth.

Old Fishermans Cottage

Stay in an authentic Mariners cottage a few minutes walk to the sea on the beautiful Cardigan bay coastal path. Cosy Ceredigion Townhouse

Vibrant townhouse set over four floors, bathed in sunlight, full of character and only a 10 minute walk from the beaches, National library, golf course, University (and its extraordinary arts centre) and all amenities. Aberystwyth - "feels like a village, shops like a town, plays like a city, works like a dream." This is not a house for minimalists or those with mobility issues. Glangwynedd Cottage

A cosy self catering cottage in attractive rural location near the river Dulas. Within walking distance of the old market town of Machynlleth and railway station. Close to mountains, rivers and coast. There is one bedroom with a double bed and the other bedroom sleeps 3 in bunk beds and a single bed. Downstairs in the lounge is a double sofa bed. Heating is provided by storage heaters and a woodturning stove at cooler times of the year.
