Head west and you’re in the heart of Bellingham. Enjoy many activities like downhill biking, kayaking, more trails, shopping, fine dining, breweries, and views of Bellingham Bay, or just relax at home a with fully stocked kitchen and outdoor seating with bbq. This acreage property provides animal watching galore: birds, deer, bunnies, etc.

Thompson Cabin- Lake Front

Come stay at our newly remodeled family lake cabin located on Cain Lake. Extra love was put into this place as it has been passed down the generations. Open concept from the kitchen to the dining room into the living room overlooking the lake. Extra family room perfect for game night. Venture outside to the large deck surrounded by bliss. Take it all in down at the large dock with views of the rest of the lake. This cabin is not perfect but is dear to our heart so please treat it like your own.

The Forest Hermitage of Turtle Haven Sanctuary

The Forest Hermitage is part of Turtle Haven Sanctuary nearby and has a specific purpose of providing inspiration and retreat for artists, writers, naturalists, and those drawn to stillness and inner contemplation, in need of rest, and renewal. The two-story structure is located in a forest grove on several wooded acres, across the road from a view of the Nooksack River and valley. This Pacific Northwest corner is renowned for its spawning salmon in season, abundant eagles, and other wildlife.

Rustic Retreat

Quiet, private, secluded home on 25 acres of forested land. The home was built from logs milled on site. Enjoy filtered spring water, natural light, stargazing, & views of the tops of Mount Baker and the Sisters on a clear day. Owls and Elk can be heard during the evening hours at certain times of the year. Heat is provided by a wood stove and 3 space heaters. Mount Baker is 1 hour away; Bellingham is 30 minutes. Well-behaved, house trained, and supervised pets are welcome with a per pet fee.

You'll be staying in our brand new tiny house with views of the eagle sanctuary and within walking distance to the North Fork Eagle preserve, including trails to the Nooksack River. We are 37 miles to the ski area and 20 miles to downtown Bellingham. Perfect for skiing, bald eagle viewing, hiking, biking, dining, and of course, relaxing. Enjoy your stay!

Conveniently located between Bellingham and Mount Vernon, WA, this apartment, above the iconic Chuckanut Manor Restaurant, is perched over Samish Bay, with killer views of the bay and the San Juan Islands. Enjoy Sunsets on the patio and/or order dinner to be delivered to your door from the Chuckanut Manor Restaurant. You will not be disappointed. Country Guesthouse

A quiet, tidy little craftsman home 20 miles from the Mt. Baker National Forest and 40 miles from the Mt. Baker Ski Area. The Middle Fork of the Nooksack and it's wildlife is a short walk to the north. We have a strict cancellation policy but we are really pretty accommodating. If you cancel within 30 days of your stay we will bank those lost funds for future use at any available time in the future.
