The Forest Cottage

A self contained cottage with two air conditioned rooms each 10m², situated within an indigenous patch of forest at the base and to the east of the highest peak in the Blyde River Canyon. From the cottage's verdant veranda stretching the entire length of the cottage, guests are afforded magnificent views over the South African Lowveld and in the distance, The Kruger National Park touching the horizon. It is situated at the very top of the village of Kampersrus within a safe and secure homestead.

Explore the Kruger National Park from multiple gate entries - the closest of which is just a short 30-minute drive away. A charming spacious farm cottage with 2 ensuite bedrooms. An open-plan kitchen and living area flows onto a deck with a gas braai (BBQ) overlooking a tributary of the Timbavati river. Wandering around the farm you may bump into giraffe, zebra and other wildlife. There are extensive vegetable gardens and a fruit orchard providing a wide variety of organic produce. There are also ducks, geese, laying hens, bantams and other poultry. Fully solar powered so no electricity outages or blackouts.
