The location is perfect, very well connected with public transportation. This was useful, even though Riga is quite easily walkable. The building is old and being renovated right now. The work is being done on the facade, but it's on the outer side, while the apartment is looking on the inside, which was really good. It's quiet and there is enough light. The place is spacious and it looks as nice as on the pictures. We were there during the days when it was colder outside and the heating was on, so it was plesantly warm at the apartment. When we arrived, it was spotless clean, which we really appreciated. The kitchen is well equiped for cooking, even though we used it mainly for breakfast or dinner. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful one-month stay at Laura’s apartment. Although the apartment is small, it’s incredibly well-organized and surprisingly comfortable. It had everything we needed — and even more than what you’d typically expect from a short-term rental. The layout is very practical, making excellent use of the space, and the apartment feels cozy and functional. It's located in a quiet area, yet still close to the city center, which was perfect for us. Laura was an amazing host — always responsive, very helpful, and open to communication. She made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We’re truly grateful and would happily return!

Огромное спасибо Виктору и Екатерине за гостеприимный и отличный приём. Виктор встретил, дал ценные советы о районе: где купить продукты, кафе, магазины. Квартира очень уютная. Описание квартиры полностью соответствует реальности. Идеальное расположение - можно гулять пешком. До старого города 15 минут. Квартира чистая и ухоженная. Хозяев рекомендуем.

This is a wonderful apartment in the best location to explore Riga old town. The apartment was spotless and had so much character. We were a family of 4 but the apartment would easily be large enough for 6. The location is very quiet however is only a few minutes walk to the heart of the old town. The kitchen is well kitted out although we didn't use it other than the fridge. We ate out, and there is a large choice of excellent restaurants, there is probably 6 restaurants within a one minute walk. Guntis and his partner were very lovely and helpful even letting us have a late checkout on the last day. I would 100% recommend as long as you are Ok with the access which as described is up a number of steps and a spiral staircase.

A wonderful wooden house in a pine forest! Everything is clean, the house is fully equipped. If you walk 5 minutes through the forest you will come out to the endless sea coast! And all this is close to Riga and not far from other attractions - Sigulda, Turaida and Gauja park. Dana and Richard were very friendly and explained us everything we could need.

Очень уютный дом и приятная хозяйка! В доме есть абсолютно все, что нужно для проживания! Удобная кухня и большая терраса! Дом находится в 10 минутах от моря, рядом с лесом. Ближайший магазин в 8 минутах. 100% рекомендую это место расположения! Дом выглядит лучше в реальной жизни, чем на фото! Это приятно удивило! Отметили то, что матрасы, подушки, одеяло - хорошего качества, что бывает очень редко в других местах размещения! Большое спасибо за такой приятный прием!

Mēs pavadījām brīnišķīgu laiku šajā viesu mājā! Gan pati māja, gan apkārtne mūs patīkami pārsteidza – ļoti mājīga, tīra un ērta vide, kur baudīt mieru un atpūtu. We had such a great stay at this place! The Clockhouse Garage has been beautifully renovated - it’s super modern and stylish, but still feels really cozy and welcoming. Everything inside was super clean, warm, and had everything we needed. It’s a really peaceful spot near the Baltic Sea, perfect for just relaxing and unwinding. The host was awesome - really friendly, helpful, and made sure we were comfortable the whole time. We honestly loved it and would totally recommend it to anyone looking for a chill, well-designed getaway!

Villa Gunda

It was a great pleasure for my family and me to spend our Christmas holidays at Villa Gunda! The house is perfect for a large family or group, with 5 bathrooms (one in each bedroom, plus one on the ground floor) and plenty of space to cook, dine, and relax. The location is ideal, too – we didn't have a car, but it's only a 25-minute train ride to the center of Riga. We loved being in a peaceful spot near the sea while still having easy access to the city. A special thanks to Ligita, who was an exceptional host. She was always quick to respond, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Our bus from Riga was late in the evening, and she kindly allowed us to stay a bit longer, ensuring we could check out just before our departure. That gesture was much appreciated! In summary, I highly recommend Villa Gunda to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay!

Hatten einen sehr komfortablen Aufenthalt bei Ludmila. Preis/Leistung ist wirklich top. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig, hell und schön eingerichtet. Auch durften wir freundlicherweise den Kamin benutzen. Die Anbindung an die Altstadt mit dem Stadtzentrum ist ebenfalls top, innerhalb von 15min ist man mit Bus und Bahn dort. Dass die Bahnlinie vor der Haustür stört, kann ich so nicht bestätigen. Klar, hört man die Bahn gelegentlich vorbeifahren, nachts hat das aber nicht gestört, zumal die Bahn tief in der Nacht gar nicht fährt.

One of our best AirBnB stays ever. The apartment was an interior design late 20th century classic with loads of space, great lighting and comfy seating. Arvis was immediately and helpfully on hand whenever needed (which wasn't often). Easy walking to classic areas of downtown Riga, a small supermarket just round the corner and a great restaurant and bar a couple of minutes away. First time in Riga and loved it.

The apartment was amazing and exactly as described. The location was excellent, with easy access to different places around the city. There was a grocery store nearby and a very cozy restaurant right downstairs, which was a lovely bonus. The apartment itself was clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We felt right at home. We truly enjoyed our time there. Arita was a wonderful, friendly, and flexible host who responded to messages quickly and made sure everything went smoothly. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
