A stable block recently converted into a spacious, stylish, self-contained cottage situated on the same 28 acre property as Bushbaby Cottage. The estate is nestled between magnificent views of Mt Meru and Kilimanjaro amongst lush gardens and wilderness which is teeming with a large variety of flora and fauna. The estate is extremely safe for walking and exploring this is one of the only places you can walk amongst wildlife, zebras, antelope and incredible bird life. Close to airport and parks.

The Blue Cow Barn - Betsie Cottage

The Blue Cow Barn Accommodation is situated on a working farm, 1km from Barrydale town centre. Our farm has gone through many seasons - from a fruit farm to a dairy farm and now a guest farm. Our cottages are named after the cows that were part of the dairy and Betsie is our most flamboyant and eccentric cottage and cow. You'll love this cottage as it is situated in the original farm barn that dates back to the 1960's and the gorgeous mountain view. This cottage also has access to the hot tub.

Farm cottage with an eco pool and fireplace:) The cottage is a unique old barn cottage with exposed wooden beams, stone walls and a cozy feel of our farm's history. The cottage consists of a living area with large double doors opening out onto the garden with an outside shower and pool. The kitchen boasts a Smeg stove and all the necessities to create beautiful meals. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed in a loft bedroom and an extra double bed is available downstairs. . The rustic charm of a converted stone barn set in the majestic Drakensberg mountains. Soak up the wonders of nature on the patio with uninterrupted berg views as cattle, horses graze nearby, enjoy a stroll down to the Mkimkhulu river for a spot of fly fishing. For the more active a hike along one of the many trails on the farm there are plenty of birdlife to enjoy, or bring your bike for fantastic MTB trails.
