Our stay on Bulago island at Tom's house was just great. From the house, beautifully situated above the water on the far west tip of the island, you have an amazing view over the lake, which gets even better with every step you climb up behind the house up to the hill, which is the highest point of the island. The house is fully equipped with all you need and Tom is an awesome host! We'll soon be back.

Notre séjour au Samaria Lodge fut particulièrement exquis; un écrin de verdure aux abords d’une charmante piscine naturelle ; coraux , coquillages et poissons colorés à quelques brasses ; des bungalows tout confort, décorés avec goût ; belle terrasse avec mobilier de jardin pour se prélasser ; ménage journalier; sans compter l’accueil et l’extrême gentillesse des hôtes Marc et Peggy ; totalement dévoués et aux petits soins; bons conseils de Marc pour les sorties; tout est organisé avec minutie; la cuisine de Peggy ,délicieuse ; un vrai cordon bleu ; soucieuse de faire plaisir et de faire découvrir la cuisine locale; bref ,un choix de charme et de grande qualité pour qui souhaite se ressourcer .Un vrai régal pour les pupilles et les papilles.Merci encore à eux pour tout.Allez y les yeux fermés !

Perfect location for easy reach to different parts of the island. Lovely, peaceful neighbourhood. Large and well equipped kitchen. We experienced few power cuts and constantly weak water pressure which we were told is a general problem all over the island.

I enjoyed Los Abrigos, its not too over commercialised, with a little harbour for local fishing boats. Close to a very pleasant "village square" and a number of local restaurants. A nice coastal walk to the West. A lovely soft black sand beach 2/3 miles to the East at Playa de la Tejita. Generally a nice base.

Beautiful island, nice cosy place to stay, and Greg was a great host, who went out of his way to make sure we enjoy our time there! Thank you again!

So sad to leave, we will definitely be back! This place blew us away TRULY made our honeymoon in Madeira magical. The view is beyond words. The location is perfect if you plan to drive around the island—15 minutes to Funchal, 40 minutes to Fanal Forest, or just 1 minute to a secluded beach below at Faja dos Padres. (Don’t miss this on a sunny day!) We spent our days exploring and then coming back in the evening to cook our meals and relax in the hot tub. Everything was immaculately clean and beautiful, and Christina seemed to think of every single detail to make her guests feel right at home. (The kitchen was well equipped with basics like oil, salt and pepper, sugar to make cooking easy; there was a picnic basket, cooler, and umbrellas to use while adventuring the island; the wood fired grill was awesome.) The thoughtfulness of these details made us feel like we were staying at a 5 star hotel. Except this place was 100 times better. Book it! You won’t regret it.

Beautiful villa on the outskirts of Stonetown, it comfortably fit 10 people (with shared beds) and it’s about a 15 minute drive from town. Host was very helpful, flexible, and responsive. House is beautiful, with direct beach access and a fully equipped kitchen. I would happily stay again and would recommend it to anyone.

This was one of the most beautiful places we went to on our trip to Mozambique. I will definitely come back here with my family and friends as it is one of the most beautiful spots and serene places to be. I highly recommend it to everyone trying to find some peace and a beautiful home away from home.

Claudia est une hôte accueillante. L'endroit est tout simplement magnifique. Lieu idéal pour se ressourcer et profiter de la grande plage qui s'offre à vous. Je conseille fortement ce lieu de vie, si comme moi, vous souhaitez vous retirer du tumulte de la vie urbaine !

Bon séjour dans votre logement, la vue est magnifique, c'est ce que nous recherchions pour notre dernière nuit sur Santorin. Un peu déçus de ne pas avoir eu le soleil en direction du jacuzzi l'après-midi. Malgré tout logement correspondant aux photos, grand et propre. Petit dej sur la terasse très agréable !

Nous avons séjourné deux jours à Chole Sana. Nous avons été accueillis par Rajab le frère du propriétaire qui a été un hôte très agréable. Le logement donne sur la baie de Chole et l'endroit est très calme. Aucun soucis pour l'électricité. Rajab était très disponible, nous a fait visiter le village et proposait même diverses activités (visite de ruines sur l'île de Juani, déjeuner sur un banc de sable...). Les clubs de plongée de la ville d'Utende qui se trouvent sur Mafia peuvent même venir vous chercher directement sur Chole et vous y ramener. Nous avons adoré notre séjour, vous pouvez y aller sans hésitation pour y profiter de cet havre de paix.

Merveilleux séjour dans la maison de Ann-Sol et Loïc qui a dépassé toutes nos attentes! Un véritable paradis.

Een oase van rust, schitterende uitzichten, vriendelijk personeel en een prettige kamer. We hadden ons geen prettiger verblijf kunnen wensen. Afya Village ligt op een vrij afgelegen plek en de weg vanaf Stone Town is ver en soms beetje onduidelijk, maar het dubbel en dwars waard. Op de punt van de zuidelijke monding van de Chwaka Bay bevind deze plek zich aan een prachtig strand, waar met vloed de golven tegen de klif slaan en met eb er een rotsachtig strand van zo’n 100 meter tot aan de zee ontstaat. Er is ontzettend veel wild leven te zien en in de drie dagen die mijn vriendin en ik hier besteed hebben, hebben we onder andere vliegende vissen, zee-egels en talloze krabben gezien. Wij hadden de Baru Baru kamer gehuurd en het was een simpele kamer met groot bed en aansluitende badkamer. Buiten het hoogseizoen om gebruiken ze zonne-energie en heb je geen warm water. Al met al heerlijk eten, lekkere bedden, personeel dat zo ongeveer 24/7 voor je klaar staat en prachtige uitzichten!
