I booked off reviews, main reason for stay was visiting family for a very busy weekend. Unfortunately did not utilize all the perks of rental. The bed is wonderful!! Dont hesitate to book. Thank You!

We stayed at this conveniently located place for 6 weeks to help our family member recover from major surgery at the Mayo Clinic. We felt right at home and very supported by the thoughtful way Jeff and Stephanie have furnished the place, including height-adjustable beds, a shower stool and grab bars, and two comfortable electric recliners in the living room in front of a large TV. The bonus space in the partially finished basement provided extra space for privacy when needed. The hosts were incredibly responsive and generous in providing assistance when we needed it, sometimes even before we realized we needed it (such as a heads up about a coming snowstorm). As other reviews have noted, there is a small flat upstairs that is separately rented as an Airbnb (which we also have stayed in in the past, very cute) and so there was some sound of footsteps from time to time. It was easy to adjust to the sound though and everyone was respectful. Highly recommended!

Great little place to stay for the weekend, very cozy and clean. Loved the brewery downstairs as well. Check in was easy and history was very good with communication. We'll be back for sure in the summer.

Very sweet little apartment to stay in!

We stayed here because one of us had surgery at Mayo, so we didn't do things around town or use the walking trail, etc. Things we really liked in the rental: memory foam toppers on the beds made them super comfortable; plentiful outlets and USB ports that were easily accessible; well-stocked kitchen; comfortable double recliners; and a lift recliner that was a godsend after surgery. John was very responsive with a couple of issues, and was easy to communicate with. I'd highly recommend this rental.

Great place! I love the mid-century modern touches throughout the house. It is a bright airy interior with big comfortable beds and a highly functional kitchen. I was here with my son and it was perfect for us. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. Very comfortable living room. Excellent communication.

My family met there for an early Xmas celebration and the host had decorated the house for Christmas including a tree. So thoughtful!

The home was clean, quiet and spacious. The listing was accurate and we found most everything that we needed. Our stay was comfortable and relaxing. WARNING: The "light switch" by the door in the laundry/utility room is not a light switch. It is the power switch for the furnace. If you instinctively turn it off as you leave the room in the evening, you may have a rude/cold awakening in the morning. Don't ask us how we know :^). Also, the mattresses on all four of the beds were in good condition but are memory foam. This may or may not be important to you, but it is good to know if you aren't a fan of this style of mattress. We enjoyed our stay and will include this home in our short list for any future stays.

This is an excellent house. Walking around the pond is very nice as well as great walks through the neighborhood. The house has lots of nice features and amenities. It is an easy drive to Mayo. Highly recommend staying with Joy.

Amazing place! My friends and I felt right at home and the place was very beautiful and clean. 100% would rent again.

The minute I walked into Andrew's place I was confronted with an immediate sense of calm and serenity. Usually I don't sleep well when traveling, but the bed at Andrew's place was super comfy. We were there with my sister and brother-in-law for my his second back surgery. Even with the stress from a medical procedure looming, my brother-in-law said he slept better the night before his surgery than he'd slept the last several weeks. Andrew was super responsive to questions prior to booking as well as during our stay. My husband forgot his cell phone and charger when we checked out. He didn't realize it until we were eating breakfast. When I reached out to Andrew to verify he responded right away and even offered to bring it to us. If we are ever in need of lodging in Rochester, MN again, Andrew's place will be the first place we check for availability. OH! The homemade cookies they leave out for their guests 😋

Our second time to stay at the cottage. Although a short trip this time we enjoy coming back to the quiet and peaceful surroundings after a day of medical appointments. They thought of everything we might need during our stay which takes away the stress of what you need to pack. They are wonderful hosts and quick to respond to anything we need. Look forward to future visits.

Thank you Simon for helping facilitate our family gathering. We all loved having a comfortable place to gather during our busy visit. We had plenty of room to move about and we were very comfortable. We didn't utilize the lower level as some family members couldn't do the stairs but I'm sure it would be a nice place to watch movies. Thank you for always communicating well with me.

Unit was cozy and warm, and had everything we needed. Located one turn from the interstate between both Mayo campuses with off street parking. Rita and Qamar are very responsive hosts. Easy checkin and checkout. Nice alternative to a hotel in Rochester.

Such a therapeutic relaxing place. The host was super sweet and caring. She let us check in earlier than the time and made our stay so smooth.
