Relax at this unique and peaceful getaway. Our Custom Amish Log Cabin overlooks the serene Black River affording a beautiful space to kick back. The main floor has a full kitchen, dining table and living room with queen sofa bed. The 2nd floor has 2 bedrooms: 1 with a queen & twin bed, and the 2nd with 2 full beds and a comfortable toddler bed. Family & friends can have their own sleeping space. Relax on the deck and cook on the charcoal grill. Explore our hiking trail & enjoy the nearby beach.

Cabin # 7 - The Maple of Kal-Haven Outpost

Nearly everything contained in these cabins has been handmade on site. From the knotty pine paneling throughout, to the queen headboards, to the buffet, and the shoeracks (several cabins also have our handmade farmhouse tables/benches), we have placed our best foot forward in showing our guests true Southwest Michigan hospitality. The 6 cabins are located on our 50 acre property just 5 minutes from downtown South Haven. The adjoining Kal-Haven Trail also offers a scenic ride into the downtown!

Beautiful Lakefront Log Cabin

This lakefront log cabin is part of a small group of homes located on 8 wooded acres on the shore of spring-fed Goshorn Lake, about 1 and 1/2 miles outside of downtown Saugatuck. This beautiful property is surrounded by trees and sand dunes. The large screened-in back porch faces the lake. Goshorn Lake is a no-wake lake, ideal for swimming, fishing, kayaking and canoeing. Goshorn Lake is approximately 100 yards directly behind the cabin. There is also a small beach ideal for younger children.

Welcome to your home away from home that we lovingly call the Moon Barn. We are situated in between South Haven and Saugatuck just a mile away from a hiking trail with public access to a Lake Michigan beach. Our home was built in remembrance of a family barn that sat on this location generations ago. It has natural barn wood and art works integrated throughout the house. Downstairs has a complete kitchen, dining area, spacious living room with a gas fire place, full bathroom, and a piano!

It is surrounded by woods and trails and easily accessed by road.
