We stayed at Osprey Lodge this weekend as a Christmas present for my partners parents and grandad! It did not disappoint the lodge was perfect, the fishing was great we even caught some fish! The location was absolutely ideal and we loved the entertainment at the club house area! Would definitely recommend to those wanting a family fishing trip!

A peaceful countryside stay with amazing views and lovely animals — the horses and llamas made it extra special! The house was cozy and clean, and the Jerry was very helpful and welcoming. Would definitely return

We had a lovely 3 night stay. What really made it for us was Laura and ash’s kindness and warmth, the location and the beautiful outside space including the great hot tub. It’s such a peaceful location with country/woodland walks from the front door but villages/amenities within easy reach. There are loads of lovely places to visit within 30 mins drive. The chalet is exactly as shown in the photos. It’s not brand new but was warm, comfy and clean with everything in good working order. We all slept well. The shower is not the most powerful but we found it fine. I think it’s really good value for what is on offer.

Luxury 2 Bedroom Cottage (Sleeps 4) Stunning Views

Perfect Getaway at Fox Cottage! Fox Cottage at Blakelow Farm was the ideal spot for two couples and our dogs, Ernie (the sausage dog) and Ralph (the cockapoo). The cottage was spotless and cozy, with plenty of room to relax. We had a great BBQ and loved the private field for the dogs to run around in. The walk to the pub through the fields was lovely, and Gina and Andrew were fantastic hosts—plus, the hens made a fun visit! Highly recommend for a peaceful, scenic retreat! PS - amazing welcome basket with fresh bread, free range eggs (guessing from the hens outside the cottage) and posh mini shower gels, other essentials and much much more.

We had the best stay at this beautiful home! Amber was a great host and went above and beyond for us. The trampoline in the garden was a great extra we weren’t expecting and the kids loved the playroom too. The location is a bit out the way so need to drive to shops 10/15 mins but the village is beautiful and really couldn’t fault it. Would return & definitely recommend. Thanks again x

Sweet & Dreamy Damson pod *NEW* - 3Trees Glamping

We have had the most amazing few days in the Damson pod. It was so clean, spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. The outdoor space is beautiful and the children loved playing freely in the sectioned off field. They loved saying hello to the alpacas every morning, and Sarah invited us to come and feed them too which my daughter was delighted about! Sarah made us feel really welcome, provided discounts for the local area and put a lovely little welcome pack with biscuits and drinks which was so nice! We had the best time and wish we could have stayed longer!

Swiss Cottage, a heritage cottage, stunning views

We had a lovely stage at the Swiss Cottage which felt very cosy and warm. It was very clean and tidy. Was very comfortable with all amenities. Felt like home away from home! Really great location. Lots of shops, restaurants on the main road just a few minutes walk away and there was also a playground close by for our little girl! Places we visited were easy to get to from the cottage. We will definitely be back!

It’s a peaceful location and roomy enough for 5 people. Parking may be a bit hard to find but you can park in front of the garages on lowick gardens temporarily. The communication was good. I would recommend this place to others.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Ian's cottage! The place was spotless, cozy, and perfectly equipped for a relaxing and fun getaway. The location is beautiful and peaceful, yet full of entertainment options — from billiards and table tennis to a lovely playground and plenty of space to unwind. There was plenty of fresh linen, everything was well-maintained, and you can truly feel the care that went into every detail. It exceeded all our expectations. We would definitely love to come back again. Thank you, Ian, for an unforgettable stay!

Highly recommended! Beautiful cottages and location, perfect for our group holiday. The kitchens were equipped with all we needed, the accommodations had great showers and comfortable beds. The garden is an amazing outdoor space perfect for summer dining. We really enjoyed our stay and Kirsty was a brilliant host, she was really responsive when we messaged. Thanks again!

thank you hosts for being so responsive, for answering all my questions and requests with patience :) my family enjoyed their time there. my only nitpick would be some kitchen utensils were a bit dusty / dirty, and there was no hooks in the bathroom, which made it a bit difficult to hang up clothing. other than that, everything was as advertised and we had a fantastic and memorable stay.
