'The Duke' Western Space on the River

'The Duke' is a John Wayne inspired western themed space perfect for a quiet getaway to Ruidoso and located on the main road into town. This is the downstairs to our primary home that we have converted to 'The Duke' with John Wayne western décor, comfortable living room with mini fridge, microwave and coffee. Don't forget to peek into the kid friendly 'cupboard under the stairs' Harry Potter inspired closet. Relax each day on the 6' by 40' covered deck listening to the Rio Ruidoso river below

Kitchenette has fridge & microwave, no stove. Beautiful views w/private access to Bonito River right off deck.This area doesn’t flood. Covered area for parking.

One bedroom with queen, also a sofa bed in the living area that connects w/kitchenette. Save money by cooking in. Balcony looks out on trees with a creek and ducks below. Electronic lock access for easy check in/out. No WiFi. Condo does have heating, cooling, fireplace, cable, towels, and plates/pans/utensils for cooking.

Elk, deer & wild turkey are abundant on our acre lot and in perfect view from the cabin deck. This quiet oasis offers Wi-Fi, a propane fire pit, electric fireplace as well as coffee, hot chocolate, and oatmeal. You'll feel miles away but still close to town.

Our completely remodeled cabin is located in “Old Ruidoso”. It’s walking distance to Midtown and a short drive to Grindstone Lake, Ski Apache and Ruidoso Downs Race Track. We have a grill on our back deck with a seating area plus a hammock in the back yard. Our front deck has a 2 person porch swing where you can enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an afternoon glass of wine. As frequent Airbnb guests we feel we have provided a great place for you to stay.
