Sal’s Pizza Penthouse is a charming two-room flat on the top floor of a little restaurant on a central location in the residential area of Lazimpat. Besides a spacious bedroom and a living room there is a bright kitchen with windows on three sides. It’s a lovely spot to sit and read or write or have a meal. The flat is connected to a pleasant terrace with a countless number of plants. There are some good cafés and restaurants in the neighborhood – probably due to the fact that there are a number of embassies in the area. Thamel is within walking distance. The host and the staff in the restaurant are friendly and very helpful. The restaurant has an adorable little front garden, and there is almost a family vibe around Sal’s Pizza. Would like to return anytime.

Amazing place for both short and long term stay in the valley. Great views from the penthouse. Taxis and rides are just outside the door. Lots of places to eat and explore nearby. Mukesh is a great host and will help you if you need anything, just reach out ! Overall an amazing experience. Will be back for sure.

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy and beautiful accommodation. The location was perfect—convenient and close to everything. The place itself was warm and inviting, with lovely details that made it feel like home. Rashil and Kiwako were outstanding hosts. They were friendly, helpful, and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. Their hospitality really made a difference and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and charming spot to stay. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in the area!

Shivdarshan is the greatest host who you would ever meet. He is always responsive and helpful. Polite to the guest and direct the affordable and suitable method of transportation and as such. Generally saying, it was a great pleasure to have a stay at his place.

Returned back to this place and it did not disappoint. The place was pristine, and the stay was peaceful like last time. The host was there to receive us and give us other recommendations. He helped me figure out spots to explore especially sauraha. He arranged a package for me to explore sauraha and it was very fun. Overall, a fun stay. Cant wait to be back here when i visit Chitwan.

Amrit was a great host! The stay became one of the most memorable part of our vacation. I would highly recommend taking tips from Amrit on the tourism in Nepal and Kathmandu. Can't wait to be hosted by the wonderful couple again :)

The BEST Airbnb experience in Kathmandu. Ashmit and his family have been extremely supportive and considerate of our stay. Ashmit has been very responsive from the time of booking upto the checkout day. Ashmit’s place is very well kept and is homely, all necessary utilities were provided. They welcomed us warmly and treated us like royalty. Ashmit was very kind and compassionate in letting us know the best places to visit in Kathmandu. He was extremely helpful with dealing with the locals. It was a wonderful time with Ashmit and his family and they even blessed us with chocolates for a safe journey back home.

Five plus stars!! The live-in host and hostess treated us like part of the extended family. They welcomed us, helped arrange transportation, and advised us on what not to miss (we were a group of six cultural travelers). The easy walk to Boudhanarth Stupa to join the locals in their early morning observances is not to be missed (we went twice). The large house is beautifully furnished with an artistic flair. Sit out on the patio in the garden under large avocado trees dripping with fruit. A great stay in Kathmandu.

Location, Services and Owner attitude make this place a gem. As so many reviews are a testament to Niraj's positivity as a host and person, I can only confirm. He was a delight to deal with from the moment I sent an enquiry to him about the property. The location is excellent, close to nice cafes and restaurants to suit all budgets, fitness studios and a tennis court with instructors next door. The Monday, Wednesday and Friday housekeeping worked very well. As did the inclusive laundry service. Amenities in the apartments are as described. An excellent stay! Thank you Niraj!

Once again I have had a wonderful time at Kibu Apartments. It is my favorite place to stay in Boudha. It feels safe, is very clean, secure, very comfortable and has AC! Shazia is always so professional and accommodating. I highly recommend staying here as it is centrally located and easy to get around while also being tucked away from very busy main streets.

I was truly grateful to spend time with such a loving family. When I arrived, I was hungry, and he kindly drove me to the supermarket and even cooked pasta for me — a gesture that deeply moved me. Both of them were incredibly warm-hearted and helpful. I had come to celebrate Mother’s Day at the Matathirta Temple in memory of my late mother, and they supported me with that as well. I also grew very fond of their two sons, who found a special place in my heart. It was a beautiful and meaningful time with them, and I would gladly return anytime.

Ketan is the greatest host. Knowledgeable, generous, always available. One of the best men. His homestay is well located and welcoming. There is a roof deck where I met many interesting guests. Everyone is so accommodating and friendly. I would definitely stay here again!

Pawan was informative and easy to talk to and his family were accommodating and approachable. The room and bathroom were very clean and they also have blower and huge mirror in the room so i enjoyed it more since i used to look in the mirror. :) Pawan has two lovely daughters and being with them was a heart-warming experience for me. Thanks a lot for your hospitality and kindness guys. Blessings
