Our stay in Mountain Breeze was perfect! Shenuka and her son kindly picked us up from the bus and warmly welcomed us to their place with a lovey drink. The rooms were all spacious and comfortable, with good AC and en-suite bathrooms. The area felt very secure and safe. The hosts went above and beyond, helping us to organise a day tour around Kandy. This was brilliant and covered all the main sights for a great price. We highly recommend to anyone staying in the area! Thank you Shenuka!

I travelled here in a group of 5 guys. Absolute gem of a place 10min away from Kandy lake. View of the hills from this place is amazing. Will need a private vehicle to commute from here but thats not much of a drawback. Last but not the least the hosts were very sweet and charming(Hiroshans mom and dad) . They made us feel at home and treated us like own family members including providing us breakfast and dinner and also refused to accept any charges. Don’t have to say the food was delicious. This will definitely be my go to place whenever in Kandy.

Der Aufenthalt bei Achala war perfekt! Die Unterkunft entspricht genau den Bildern. Der Ausblick ist sensationell! Das eigene Bad ist über einen Gang im Freien erreichbar und riesig. Es gibt eine offene Dusche, einen beleuchteten Spiegel etc. Das Klima ist perfekt und abends wird es angenehm kühl. Durch die großen Glasscheiben wir es morgens allerdings früh hell und sehr warm. Wir hatten keine Mosquitos! Achala und seine Familie sind super sympathische Hosts. Die Unterkunft war im Vergleich sehr sauber und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Nach Kandy dauert es etwa 25 Minuten und es ist möglich mit Uber, Tuk Tuk oder Bussen zu fahren. In Kandy können wir das Banana Chill Cafe sehr empfehlen. Alles in allem war unser Aufenthalt perfekt (vielleicht etwas zu kurz) und wir können das Air BnB absolut empfehlen.

I had a wonderful time at this accommodation! I was traveling alone and spent a full week here. This house is incredibly unique, it has a very special energy—peaceful and the perfect place for a retreat or meditation. Manoj, the caretaker, deserves special recognition: he cooks delicious meals, is always helpful, and very friendly. The PickMe app also works really well in the area—you can order anything to the house, including food and taxis. Manoj lives in a separate unit, so your privacy is fully respected. I was even able to take photos of monkeys from the balcony. It was a beautiful experience that, on several occasions while I was having dinner, Manoj played the piano for me. We even went to the city together. I highly recommend this place!

My entire stay at Edgar Mansion was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the thoughtful attention to detail in the decor. Every corner of the house exuded a sense of elegance and warmth, creating an inviting and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere that made me feel right at home. I would also like to extend my deepest gratitude to Chef Reggie and his talented team. Not only did they prepare extraordinary meals that delighted the senses, but they also went above and beyond to attend to all our needs with genuine care and professionalism. Their dedication truly elevated the entire experience.

Camillus was the best host during our short tour in Sri Lanka. He was the owner of the apartment and always willing to go that extra mile to make our stay memorable- tips on to do things, flexible on check in and out times and any requests never too much for Camillus. The apartment located on a hill with steep incline - we love the walk to Kandy Lake and back as it provided us a great way to burn excess calories from our dining experiences 😊. Turk Turks and Pick Me come straight upto the apartment so if you don’t want the walk, you have an option. We will surely stay at this place again when we visit Sri Lanka and we highly recommend for travellers as Camillus offer 1, 2 or even 3 bed room apartments.

Maya and her husband are wonderful, warm-hearted and friendly hosts who supported us with everything from the very first second! The apartment/ house is located in a very nice and calm neighborhood which we enjoyed a lot after a busy day in the city. We would always come back!! 🤗

It was a perfect long weekend for us, at Athula’s comfortable home. The location is 10/10, not even 100m to the main road yet the peace and tranquility of home is surreal. It is the ground floor house, and has all amenities including a well equipped kitchen. Beds were comfortable. Rooms are spacious and had cupboards and racks. No air conditioning but there are ceiling fans. We cooked simple meals but there are restaurants and markets within walking distance. We travelled by a car (small) and could park it inside the gate. The garden is gorgeous! Athula has green fingers! His wife is really hospitable, kind and helpful, she adds a beautiful touch to the place. Loved the home and the hosts. Definitely recommended.

It was a wonderful stay. The view from the roof was excellent. Everything was clean. We enjoyed the stay. I would like to strongly recommend the place. Everything worked nicely at the end. There is a nice kitchen and four bedrooms. A man stays there and he tried his best to help us, but he cannot speak or understand English. To write an honest review I would like to mention what I don't like too. Host gave me number of Sashi,. He requested me to call him after leaving Punnawala, after reaching near Kandy and after reaching the property. I don't understand why do I need to call him so many times, when is not going to come at all. Certain things like wifi and TV in first floor was not working. Sashi told that some one name Shyam will come within few minutes. He eventually came after 5 hours after a few calls. He was of great support and solved all the minor issues. Now the caretaker and Shyam do not understand that people may need privacy. They were freely moving in the first floor.
