This detached space offers a comfortable place to unwind, with a queen bed, a large TV, and access to the owners’ pool. Its quirky antique butcher’s theme gives the bungalow its memorable appeal Please note there is also a fold-out sofa, if required, though it may not be the most suitable or comfortable option for an adult guest. If the fold-out bed is used, an additional fee will apply.

From your private terrace, set amidst the beautiful gardens, you can wander freely through the grounds. Our property is home to a great many native species, including wallabies and over 100 species of birds. We have no domestic pets. Head into Samford village for a coffee at one of the many iconic coffee shops, or take a stroll through the nearby rainforests of Mt Glorious and Mt Nebo.

Kamala Cottage is a cosy 110 year old Railway workers cottage, relocated from Minden .It has been lovingly renovated by the owners, and furnished with antique/ vintage furniture and wares. Original features include the beautiful silky oak windows, and hardwood flooring. It has modern cooking and bathroom facilities . Sited in its own private bush garden, including fire pit, away from the main residence. Recently a filming location for the upcoming Rom-com “Love,Wine and Valentine”

Guest house

The cottage is completely separate from the main house on a half-acre block in Karana Downs 28 kms to Brisbane CBD or 12 kms to Ipswich CBD. It is fully self-contained, modern, airy, quiet and peaceful. It has a full kitchen, laundry, dining and lounge area and one double bedroom with queen bed and a bathroom with safety railings. The cottage has two split system air conditioners and two ceiling fans. It has a large private covered verandah on 2 sides and undercover parking for one car.
