It was a rainy weekend but we got great recommendations for places to go! Getting rained in by the fireplace wasn't too bad anyway, what a relaxing visit. We will definitely be back!

Me and my family loved the time we spend there! The kids loved the shower. They have never experienced a shower like that before. The place over all was well worth it and very enjoyable. We will definitely have to come back when we are visiting family again.

The pictures don’t do it justice. Beautifully decorated and clean organized home. It was just what we needed for our family. The lack of a designated parking space was a new and somewhat uncomfortable experience, but we always found a spot close to the house.

We visited our son in Longwood University which brought us to Kira’s cabin. The cabin is a short drive from downtown Farmville, less than 15 minutes, rests on a large open grassy field with a nice sized fireplace and a few hiking paths. The interior of the cabin is very welcoming, the feel is that of a late 19th century hunter’s cabin with modern features like wi-fi, central air, entertainment center, and a modern kitchen. The cabin was very comfortable and spacious. We felt like we visited our family or close friend’s home. Thank you!

This was the perfect house for what we needed. We were there for three nights and the location was perfect to get to liberty University as well as a quick walk to downtown and the river walk. We had five adults and there was plenty of space for all of us. Even if we would have had a few children with us, there still would have been plenty of space.

There's so much to say about our stay at HeartRock! You instantly feel at peace when you arrive, and can feel how much love has been poured into this space. Everything about HearRock makes you feel relaxed and ready to connect with your loved ones. We stayed here for a friend's weekend and immediately felt at home. The kitchen is perfect for sharing meaningful meals, the porch is cozy for hanging out, and the grounds are beautiful to explore. We cannot say enough positive things about HeartRock - it is truly a gem and we cannot wait to return.

Ronald’s place was perfect for us! We came to the area for a dog trial and the farm setting was great for our dogs. It was soo comfortable of a place to stay, from the comfy couch to the fireplace (thermostat-controlled). It was extremely quiet and convenient for us. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

This place was a peaceful retreat for us while we were in Lynchburg for a college tour. It was very thoughtfully decorated. Honestly it felt so inviting that we wanted to extend our stay. We spent our morning coffee time on the porch admiring the river view and watching the bald eagles in their nest. So beautiful! Great place!!!

Had a lovely stay in Dan's basement apartment! The unit was so clean and well-taken care of. It was easy to make ourselves at home. Dan and Karen are great hosts. My partner and I loved both restaurants and the hike recommended by them! Overall, this is a great spot if you are looking to get to the mountains easily and want great value. Thanks, Dan and Karen.

Loved staying here! It was perfect for my husband, baby and I. The renovations were beautiful and honestly had a lot of thoughtful little details! It was very clean. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay and really enjoyed the loft. Very convenient location with fantastic and modern accommodations - all exactly as described / shown in pictures. We stayed over Christmas and were surprised to find the loft had even been decorated for the holidays with beautiful tree, stockings, and more. Those little extra touches made the stay all the more memorable. Thank you!

Would highly recommend for a quiet, relaxing weekend. This was a repeat stay, and everything was just as nice as the last time. Quick communication with Gwendolyn was appreciated, and everything we needed was available or offered.
