We had such a lovely stay at Hazel House. The home is beautifully decorated with so many thoughtful touches that made it feel welcoming and comfortable from the moment we walked in. The lounge was especially cosy—I spent hours happily reading my book there—and the outdoor BBQ area was a great bonus that we made good use of. Sarah was a fantastic host—super responsive, friendly, and gave us all the detail we needed to enjoy our stay. The location is also spot on, just a short drive to Lake Wendouree. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for a wonderful getaway!

We had a lovely stay at Harvest Cottage. The property was beautiful and quiet with everything you need for a nice getaway. We particularly the loved the fresh sourdough bread and fresh eggs from the chickens!

Tran's house was better than expected. It was an easy check in process lovely and clean rooms and bathrooms and a kitchen with full amenities. The space was perfect for 7 adults and one baby. The beds were very comfy and the lounge area was great for a group. The views were beautiful from all directions of the house.

We had a wonderful stay, very comfortable for family of four adults. Convenient and peaceful location to explore the area. Felt at home on walking in and everything we needed for the stay was there. Cosy gas fire was lovely in the evenings. Stand out was sitting in the egg chair on the veranda feeling amongst the trees with all the birds. Hosts were extremely helpful & responsive. Thank you

Our group has the best stay. Was fantastic for the kids to be able to run around, play on the swings and have so much space. It was great for adults to be able to unwind and still be able to see the kids from the comfy couch on the verandah. The fire pit was a bit hit too. House had everything we needed and more. Loved our stay and would love to stay again! Loved the views, loved the balcony at the front and then a further bbq area out the back. We really appreciated how the kitchen had everything we could possibly need! In fact the whole place had everything we could possibly need! The included bottle of red went down nicely thank you! Loved the camp fire area with ample wood and fire starters and we enjoyed toasting marshmallows in the evenings. Loved the quality large Samsung TV with good wifi so we could watch movies each night. The place is a not too far walk into town. Beds, linen and towels all very comfortable and good quality. For those with kids just be warned that they are in a separate building about 10 meters away and the bathroom is in the main dwelling although the pathway is well lit with sensor lights. Worked fine for us as my twins are 13 but might not work so well for those with little children. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Glenn was amazing host, made check in so seamless and went above and beyond by leaving lights on and the heater on for our late check in. The house was perfect in an amazing location. Glenn was responsive and friendly and our stay was 10/10. Would recommend!

We had a fabulous stay at Sailors Falls Estate! Margaret and Robert were so helpful and the villa was very comfortable. We found the nearby Daylesford attractions easy to get to but also enjoyed relaxing at the villa with a lovely wine from the cellar door!

A quiet well maintained property with charm. Extra blankets plus effective heating and great information for local sites and eating opportunities. Everything you need.

Easy few minute drive into town. Great view of kangaroos and emus with the mountain in the background. Short stroll to the pub on the corner. We’re readers, so loved having two couches to stretch out on.

A very nice stay in Halls Gap. The unit was small but neat and tidy. Lovely to feed the birds on the balcony and not far from the main street. Located back off the main road too, which meant not too much traffic noise. The air con is quite noisy and it was hot over the weekend and there were no fans available to use in the bedrooms. Otherwise a lovely stay, there were even apples and slices to enjoy as well. Would recommend!

We had such a wonderful time at Deb and Jim’s beautiful property. The accommodation was gorgeous, rustic and very clean. Deb had left us a yummy home-baked loaf of bread, eggs, homemade jam, milk, biscuits, lovely teas and other staples. They had set the fire for us both nights so it was ready to light as soon as we arrived. Deb and Jim are the loveliest couple - we had a fun walk with Jim and Ollie (their pat-loving dog) and we invited Deb and Jim over for a drink in the evening and had a lovely chat. The beds were very comfortable and accommodation was a perfect size for our family of four. We hugely recommend Deb and Jim’s accommodation as a wonderful place to stay and we’re looking forward to returning!

We had a beautiful stay at the A frame. Stunning inside and set amongst giant trees plus walking distance to the lake. Our last day was rainy so we gathered around the fire and the fondue set and put a record on! Great memories! The second bedroom is possibly best for small children.

Kerry is a very warm and welcoming host. The cottage was clean, comfortable and cosy. Lovely surrounds and not too far from all the attractions in Ballarat. We'll definitely be back.

The house was clean and uncluttered, David was very lovely to deal with and gave clear check in instructions. Nice and close to the centre of town, yet still waking up to kangaroos around the house, even seeing a deer out the back! Basic, no frills lodging, but cosy and comfortable. If you are looking for somewhere to escape the hustle and bustle, this is the perfect retreat.

Yvette's place certainly comes in top 3 for us on AirBnb across all our stays globally in past 12 years. Very peaceful, tastefully decorated, kitchen was super compact, nicely designed and had everything one would need at home away from home. Very nice location in Halls Gap. Tub in the bathroom & shower was amazing esp after a long day of hike. This was our first trip to Halls Gap and I would love to stay here again on our future trips. Shilpi

Dimity's cabins were a beautiful peaceful base for a weekend away for our friends' wedding. The outdoor and natural setting was just what we needed to unwind and slow down, especially since the weather was so clear! It is also a perfect setting for some focussed work time, which we will be back for I'm sure. The bathroom, bedroom and sitting rooms are each in separate cabins so make sure you bring warmer gear in colder months! Dimity was a responsive, thoughtful and generous host - we had everything we needed on arrival. The wine, snacks and milk were a lovely thoughtful touch. We would definitely recommend!

The place was cosy and well maintained. Had all the basic amenities one would need for a comfortable stay. Beds were clean with fresh linen. The only recommendation would be to include wifi access in the stay.
