This was a great, unique spot. We wish we stayed longer. Definitely not for everyone, as there are a lot of irregular stairs down a steep hillside, but that was part of the magic. We had a roaring fire both nights, and enjoyed the hot tub which we were baffled how it was ever installed down the hill. We enjoyed day trips and the local scene before continuing north on our redwoods road trip. Thanks again!

The perfect spot for a couples trip to Russian River! A beautiful and relaxing place to stay. We loved both the cabins.

Bob's place was extremely comfortable! Beyond that it was peaceful and exactly what I was looking for during my get away from my usual workweek! The hot tub and amenities made this place truly fun. I would definitely stay again. Such a cute town as well! Loved looking out into the forest. Great recommendations as well. I also got engaged on this trip so this will always be a great memorable place for me!

Thoughtfully minimalist, spacious and airy. Skylights are gorgeous. Hot tub is a fabulous addition. Clean and well equipped kitchen. Street is very quiet. Only minutes from Occidental. Highly recommended.

Chad’s place was perfect for a relaxing getaway. Easy to walk to places in town. The cabin is very thoughtfully appointed and the outdoor space is well designed. If you have downstairs too the staircase in the house is a little steep, but there is an outside one that is easier. The hot tub was perfect for evening stargazing!

Had the most amazing stay with my pups to get away from the city. They got to run around and be free while we enjoyed the hot tub. The aesthetics of the place were 10/10. Used the wood burning stove religiously as it was a bit chilly, which made the stay so cozy. Grass valley is a really really cute town too. The perfect private quiet getaway.

We had a great time at this gorgeous cabin! It was very peaceful and our dogs loved running around to play and explore. The whole property is fenced in, but my dogs are pretty agile and would be able to get out if they wanted to. They got to be off leash while we were actively playing, but we put them on long leads attached to the posts on the back deck while we were in the hot tub or grilling dinner. The cabin was really well stocked with anything you could possibly need. There was some firewood in the back yard, but it was pretty wet, so we ended up buying some from the grocery store in Valley Springs, which was only a 10 minute drive away. Beautiful cabin and very peaceful if you like the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere and still only a few minutes drive away from stores and restaurants.

Stayed 5 days for our 46 year wedding anniversary had a blast loved how comfortable we were and how nostalgic all the decorations were. Had a 1960 Tailgate for the bed headboard and lots of Placerville and area history signage and literature. Loved it

We had an amazing stay! The home was modern, spotless, and perfectly designed for a comfortable getaway. The surrounding forest was absolutely beautiful and gave the whole place a peaceful, secluded feel. We also loved the fun amenities like the net and basketball court— really fun for kids. Would definitely stay here again!

A lot of attention to detail was what I noticed. When I arrived, everything I needed and wanted was right there, even things that are important like a super comfortable bed, with high-quality linens. The place was adorable, spacious and relaxing. Perfect for what I needed, I’ll definitely be back again.

Truly a beautiful get away spot. Perfect cabin in the woods, close to the lake. Really enjoyed being a 5 minute drive to the water, lots of hiking/running trails close by.

This is an amazing place to stay! First of all, 1/3 acre in Monte Rio, fully FENCED, and next to a CREEK, is rare. Our senior dog LOVED it! Lorri thought of everything. From the dog towel, to the instructions on how to start and operate the fire pit and grill. It was all so inviting. The house-book is a must-read. We were greeted with chocolate chip and walnut cookies which were wonderful to snack on after a nearly 4 hour drive. Sweet Creek is EXTREMELY pet friendly but you still have to be a responsible pet owner and pick up after your pets and the basic things like dry their feet off and drape any furniture with sheets if they lay down on them. The picture board of animals who've stayed there, and the wonderful binder full of thank you notes was just so touching. We felt like we were staying at a friends house, not airbnb. We can't say enough with the character count left. Sweet Creek is a must! We will RETURN!

My family enjoyed a beautiful and peaceful 4 nights here. The home was clean and stocked with all of the basic necessities. The lake was walking distance and we took all of our things over in the wagon. My two dogs had fun sniffing around the property and discovering all of the tennis balls left by previous furry friends. Had some deer visitors on one of the evenings. Overall a lovely stay!!

The cabin was a great place to getaway. It is located in a neighborhood but the property is so large it feels like you have the woods to yourself. The cabin was cozy and had everything needed for my stay to be comfortable. The bed and linens, were amazing. My dog loved running the large fenced yard. It was a quick drive to the local hiking trails and downtown. I would absolutely stay here again. Wonderful experience.

The place was absolutely cozy, and the view so pretty. The deer were awesome to see. Plenty of board games to play. The host were so helpful and communicative. When we accidentally left something behind, the host were so helpful to help us to get our lost item back the next day.

Beautiful cabin location for my family trip during the holidays. It was nestled among a creek and woods and it was very peaceful and cozy. Would love to come back in the summer and go kayaking. It was unfortunately raining hard during our stay but we had much to do inside with games, a fireplace and going into downtown to visit the numerous cute shops. Overall loved our stay!

We stayed here for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it! We were impressed by the craftsmanship of the home and deck (we both have construction backgrounds). It was very private and peaceful. Beautiful views of tall oaks around the deck. Hosts were very sweet and responsive. We frequently use air bnb and this was one of the best locations we have ever stayed at. Very close to downtown Nevada City and great dining/small shops. But our favorite part was just enjoying time using the spa amenities and unplugging. Host provided slippers and a speaker for spa which was great. We even got some sweet snuggles from their orange cat Ginger who checked in on us (which we loved). The only downside was that the next day was already booked and we couldn’t stay longer. Looking forward to an extended visit here in the future.

a unique little cabin, out in nature. clean and cozy! short drive from town. great view of the property from the balcony. the host was very nice and responded to us promptly and courteously. we got frequent visits from the very sassy cat. very comfortable and far enough from the beautiful, historic small town to feel like we where in nature but close enough to enjoy what the community had to offer with a short drive. we will absolutely use this space whenever we are in the area! highly recommended!

Kalery’s place is super unique with the cabin / yurt combo! The place feels secluded but is a short drive from Grass Valley & Nevada City where there are a ton of restaurants and fun bars. We loved relaxing on the back patio listening to the nearby creek and spending time in the hot tub. The place was super cozy /clean and we had all the info we needed for a seamless stay. Would def visit again!

We had a wonderful stay at Victoria's cabin. We loved everything about it. Sonoma Raceway was an easy 10-minute drive away, and the view was beautiful. I wish we had more time to spend at this unique cabin, we would definitely stay here again.
