Bed & breakfast of charm - Ardeche

You will be welcomed in a former farm from Ardèche of the XVIth century, in the rustic charm : ground in from Cévennes bars of stoneware, stones and exposed beams, furniture and retro decoration. The room, facing west and north, gives onto a privative path. Of a surface of a dozen square meters - except shower-room, it includes a double bed, and a baby bed on request. Shower and washbasin are in the room. WC is accessible from the next room, and reserved for our hosts. The french breakfast is included in the rate. You can take it outside (in terrace), on the balcony or in the sunny kitchen facing south on our monastery table. Those wishing to prepare themselves their other meals can use our refrigerator and our kitchen. We'll lend to the walkers hiking cards and 1/25000 maps of our sector (Val de Ligne et Beaume-Drobie). And of course we'll get available to inform you about sites worthing sweat and blisters. Our house is located in a hamlet lost under a forest of sweet chestnut trees and pines. There are hardly ten old genuine houses, and the road doesn't go further than here. The nature lovers will find peace and quiet there. 4 km from bathing rivers and from the closest restaurant, 10 km from shopping. There is no public transportation, but you can either walk, ride a horse, a bike, or a motorbike, and even drive your car, unless you decide to hitch-hike down the valley...

XVIII century home in the garden

Between Nimes and "Pont du Gard", nearby Uzes, Marianne et Etienne welcome you in the "mazet" in the middle of the garden. You will stay in a quiet independent duplex recently renovated, with private terrace and access to the pool (8x4 meters) On your adorable little stone house's ground floor, is the lounge with sofa-bed, tv, fridge and microwave. On the first floor is the air-conditioned room with its big bed, and the bathroom. Toilets separated. Private terrace for sunny breakfast !! Extented WIFI is working well now in all the room and terrase. Breakfast included. Enclosed parking for your car. On reservation, we can provide a meal including quiche, salad, dessert. (15€/pers) The city where you will find all the commodities you need is just 3 kms away : supermarket, bakery, ect. The house is perfectly located to fully enjoy all the wonderful places of interest, activities and lanscapes the region offers: Nimes, a beautiful gallo-roman city, the Pont du Gard and its exhibitions, the historical city of Uzés, St Quentin la Poterie, the pottery village, many wein cellars, the gorges du Gardon that you can canoe-down passing under the pont du Gard... The beautiful cities of Arles (Camargue aera) and Avignon are also just 30 min drive. There's a bus line between the village and Nîmes.

Medieval Fort, Sud Ardèche stunning loft with pool

Formally a fortified castle “Fort de La Bastide “ was constructed on the site of a Roman military station. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . There is full access to the large garden including an 10mx4m in-ground heated swimming pool .

Reposez vous, l'endroit est au calme et la nature vous accueille. Votre terrasse est privative ainsi que la salle d'eau et les wc. Le lit est queen size (160), les draps et linge de toilette sont fournis. Envie d'une boisson chaude, une bouilloire est à votre disposition. Le petit déjeuner sur réservation sera servi entre 7 et 10h.

Chambre dans maison individuelle du propriétaire, avec salle de bain/wc privé(sèche cheveux et fer à repasser fournis). Possibilité de cuisiner sur place ( plaque gaz, micro-ondes,frigo-congélateur,barbecue). Petite terrasse individuelle pour manger, terrain de boules. Wifi, télévision dans la chambre, chauffage ou climatisation. Bien sur, nous vous préparons les petits déjeuners le matin, avec nos confitures maison et miel de Vallon. Piscine à disposition.

Cabane

Chambre ronde posée dans les chênes verts au dessus du ruisseau avec une terrasse suspendue. Baignoire, WC, Lavabo, Lit double. La cabane se trouve au dessus du mas Lou Abeilhs avec une vue plongeante sur la vallée. Pour y accéder du parking il y a un petit chemin de 150m et une quarantaine de marches. A partager avec un autre couple, sur la grande terrasse du bas une cuisine extérieur, toute équipée, est à votre disposition.
