This old-fashioned diner, owned by a single mom, serves hearty meals that last all day. Their eggs Benedict, with fresh spinach, avocado, and homemade skillet potatoes, is a standout. Watching “CoCo” cook—his energy is unmatched—is an experience! Get there early; we went twice, and it was packed. Consider contributing to The Local Joint’s “pay it forward” option. A $10 donation covers a meal for someone in need. This region of North Carolina was severely impacted by Hurricane Helene. The destruction is heartbreaking, but the community is rebuilding. Many businesses and walking trails remain closed, so keep that in mind.

The cottage is perfect for 2 people and a dog. It’s in a great location that is walking distance to downtown. And there’s a great coffee and ice cream place at the end of the block. I would definitely recommend the cottage.

My boyfriend and I loved staying at this cottage! We took a couples trip to visit Asheville and support the community after the hurricane, and we loved every minute of it! The place was beautiful and private and we felt right at home! The hot tub was definitely a favorite for us!!!! We would absolutely stay again!

Super cool place that is just like what is shown in the pics. We only stayed one night as we were traveling north and were looking for a place to rest. Would def have stayed more days if that wasn’t the case. I recommend this place!

What a fantastic weekend in Hendersonville! The cottage was the perfect location - close to town, but still felt private with a huge fenced in backyard for bonfires and our dogs to run around. As an added bonus, the hot tub was super relaxing, clean and easy to use. The house was spotless and well-stocked with supplies (coffee machine, blankets, towels for the pool and hot tub, treats for our pups, snacks, etc.). The hosts’ communication was clear and they even provided a helpful binder with information about the house and recommendations for cool local spots. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a cozy, relaxing retreat in an adorable town!

Really enjoyed our stay. The view and sunsets were spectacular. The beds were extremely comfortable. We really enjoyed the hot tub. Great place!!

We loved our stay at the cottage! Very comfortable, clean, and peaceful. We had plenty of towels, blankets, pillows, etc. the hot tub was easy to use. The shower had great water pressure and a nice size tub. The fireplace was really great in the living room. Overall a great stay! I wish there was a way to know a little about the history of the home.

We enjoyed our stay with our 2 dogs! The cottage was very comfortable and had a well-equipped kitchen with everything we needed.. including coffee and tea! The beds were comfortable and the open living room was perfect. We loved the seating on the deck, and the fenced-in backyard overlooking a creek was perfect for our dogs. Location was great with a short drive into Asheville. Our dogs especially loved the visits from the cows next door!! Hope to return soon!!

We had a wonderful time celebrating my fiancés birthday in Saluda as well as staying at Karen and Katie’s place. It’s an absolute adorable house that was perfect for the two of us and our service dog. Location was peaceful and exactly what we were looking for! Would definitely go back!

Great place. All instructions were written out and posted in this great place. Love this compared to having to read emails with the instructions. Beautiful place and would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thanks Mike.

The Cottage was the perfect home base for a fun weekend exploring Asheville. The bath was lovely and everything was nice and clean and comfortable.

This lovely home with its pastoral view really exceeded our expectations. The house was roomy, well laid out and we enjoyed sitting on the back deck in the daytime and using the hot tub at the end of the day after hiking the Blue Ridge PWY. The beds were very comfortable. The location was 20 minutes from Asheville. Our host was responsive and helpful. Definitely willing to use this house again!

we came to this gorgeous airbnb to escape some plumbing work being done on our house. we could not have been happier. Francia was flexible when we had to extend, very communicative. the house was an adorable, mountain cabin with a GREAT backyard! perfect for our pup Finnegan! 10/10 would stay again :)

Our favorite place to stay when visiting family in Candler! It always feels like home -- beautiful and peaceful -- and such an amazing place to relax!

Caleb‘s place is a fantastic, peaceful, out-of-the-way cottage. Wonderful place for a quiet vacation, but an easy drive into Asheville to enjoy all of the restaurants and amenities. Everything was incredibly clean and comfortable. I would definitely visit again hopefully sooner rather than later.

We stayed in the Gala Getaway cottage and it was wonderful! The description given by Jennifer was spot on. The cottage is extremely private and clean. Next time we visit the area we definitely hope that the cottage is available as it is close to everything. It is convenient to access downtown Hendersonville, wineries and several apple orchards . It is minutes from highway 26 while providing a quiet peaceful setting. We recommend it to anyone visiting the area

I had an amazing stay! The cottage was so cozy and peaceful. The location was perfect near a small town and not far from downtown Asheville. Definitely an Airbnb I’d love to come back to!

Place was very beautiful very quiet. The nature was very beautiful. There we’re neighbors but they were a good ways away. Would definitely recommend to others! House was very spacious. Just kind of wish there was tvs in the rooms. Other then that it was amazing !
