Coastal Queens Place Hostel - Family Room

Coastal Queens Hostel is run by a not-for-profit board and members. Our building, originally an elementary school, has been turned into a community space we are keeping alive with endeavours such as this hostel. We are located in the beautiful town of Port Mouton on the South Shore of Nova Scotia, home to many beautiful white sand beaches and restaurants (seasonal) within a 2 to 5 minute drive. We are 10 minutes from the closest town (Liverpool) and welcome guests all year round.

Double Room

Welcome to EcoSun Hostel. This room is located at the end of the hallway, offering the quietest environment and the widest outdoor view. Guests are invited to use the shared kitchen, fully equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, dining table, and essential cookware—perfect for preparing meals and feeling at home during your stay. Complimentary on-site parking is also available for added convenience. EcoSun Hostel is located just a 5-minute drive from downtown Montague.

Romp of Otters at the Acorn

The Acorn is part of the 60 acre, 137 year old Oakland House property that has been operated as a summer vacation destination since it was opened to guests on July 4th, 1889. Once an ice house and even a casino, the Acorn is a quaintly rustic piece of history we hope you enjoy! Romp of Otters is a private room with one queen bed and is tastefully decorated with antique furnishings. Room is accessed from an exterior staircase off the porch.
