I can't begin to describe what a dream this stay was for me and my family. We had our wedding reception here and it was perfect! The home is beautiful and the grounds are breathtaking. The pictures don't do this place justice. Anna was incredibly kind and accommodating. She made our day so special! Would definitely love to come back and stay in the future. Absolute perfection! 10/10 recommend.

Great place. The property was great - we didn't get to take advantage of all the property has to offer, must return. Lovely place - the office setup was fantastic to be able to work while on vacation.

We stayed here for a Spartan race. We all loved the space and thought it was so cool. We enjoyed hanging on the porch and having two kitchens. I would definitely recommend it for a large group.

Such a comfy, cozy cottage way out in the country, it was truly blissful! Carol was a great communicator and made sure that we had everything we needed was delightful to work with. Relaxing stay after a busy days of shopping round top.

This is a charming spot with beautiful surroundings. Kitchen is gorgeous and fully stocked, large bathrooms and comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend.

What an adorable cottage! It was decorated so nicely - it has a "vintage romantic" feeling. The kitchen and bathroom are very spacious. The clawfoot tub was charming. The house has a special feel to it. Mike was very quick to respond and assist with a few questions we had. It has a remote feeling with lots of privacy. We will return!

great little place to stay for our event in town

Came here with girls group for a country loving bride’s bachelorette party to celebrate in Brenham and this was the perfect spot! Everything was so dang adorable and thoughtful in the house and apartment. Do be aware the beautiful property is on country backroads that are winding and some gravel/rocky so use much caution especially at night. Check-in was easy and hosts were able to accommodate all our requests and answer questions ahead of time and on the spot when needed. Check-out was also seamless and straightforward. I am already thinking about plans to come back and stay here again. This would be amazing stay for families - so many cute touches with kids in mind. Would recommend this place definitely across the board!!!

We had a lovely weekend at Carrie’s place! It was the perfect size and layout for our family of five, and our kids loved the specially made bingo boards and spotting all the deer. We will definitely be back soon!

Lazy Double D is a magical place, I enjoy staying there every time. Beautiful nature, especially in the spring time with wildflowers everywhere, the animals, the tranquility. The Barndominium is beautifully decorated, clean and feels very homey. Wonderful hosts, who took good care of us. I highly recommend this beautiful place!

The only thing I didn’t like about it was that it is a duplex. The description on the listing said there was another listing on property but I had no idea it was attached. Luckily the neighbors we had were super quiet and everybody stayed to themselves. Our kids had a BLAST on the paddle boat! ❤️

We had an amazing stay at this home! It was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The beds were cozy, the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, and the entire space felt welcoming and peaceful. Our host was communicative and made sure we had a seamless experience. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Overall the stay was great. Lynnen was extremely responsive and flexible with us! Air conditioning worked great and the place was mostly clean. There was some dust here and there and maybe some rat droppings but other than that, just what you would expect from a very old house!

It's a great place to stay when you're visiting the area. The hostess is very attentive and takes care of anything that comes up. The home is very comfortable, relaxing, peaceful, and spacious. We loved it.
