The Cove Retreat- Pet Friendly Oceanfront Studio

This unique pet friendly property is absolute oceanfront. It has the main residence and two private fully self contained apartments. Our friendly managers Jan and Steve and their little dog Charlie live on site. This comfortable apartment on ground floor has great ocean views from the bedroom. Pets are very welcome we just ask that they are not left unattended. We offer doggie sitting at very reasonable rates. All of the shared outdoor areas including the firepit, overlook the ocean.

Access to the council maintained boat ramp is just 300m from the house. A fire pit with wood is available for your comfort .

Outside the patio overlooks bush land and Burnett River with seating and bbq. 10 minutes to shopping centre and restaurants, 15 minutes to Bundaberg CBD. Please note there is NO Wi-Fi, but we have Telstra and Optus reception and you can hotspot to the TV for streaming services. We do not allow dogs onsite, this is for their own safety as our property is not fully fenced.

The 53 acre site boasts 1.3 klm of saltwater tidal creek frontage with wildlife including kangaroos and beautiful burdekin ducks. Try your luck at some shore based fishing or crabbing, however if you have a boat a council maintained boat ramp is only 600 mtrs away! Explore Rules Beach and Deepwater National Park or simply just chill out on the block.

Mac,and Gaynor , invite you to stay at the cabin overlooking the "Billabong" in our private bush acreage. You can meet our resident families of kangaroos and wallabys, also all the birds. Relax on the deck while you plan your next adventure. For you boaties, we have a parking area for your trailer boat, and a few hot offshore marks. the Billabong has a dog friendly area. The Billabong is not suitable for infants, toddlers or children.

You have direct access to the creek via stairs onto a sandy beach where you can safely moor your boat.
