Cwt Glo is a cosy and peaceful cottage for two in Northern Snowdonia nestled between two mountain ranges the Carneddau and Glyderau. Cwt Glo is situated in a small village near Bethesda called Mynydd Llandygai. There is private off road parking next to the cottage. Cwt Glo is Welsh for Coal house and the cottage was the place where the coal was weighed and measured. The property has been both a farm and coal yard for the local area. Cwt Glo is a semi sustainable/off grid cottage it has a solar and wind system however there is the backup of mains electricity. There is also an LPG central heating and hot water system. The cottage has a wood burning stove to keep you cosy and warm in the evening after a busy day exploring the local area. We also provide the wood for your stay.

Relax in front of the woodburning stove after a days exploring, watch the sun set over Penrhyn Castle, take a walk down to the beach, or enjoy a drink at the The Slate Tavern and a walk home across the fields. Ideally located to enable you to explore Snowdonia National Park, the North Wales coast and the beautiful Anglesey beaches. Situated 7 miles from the royal town of Caernarfon with it's majestic castle, 5 miles from Llanberis at the foot of Snowdon in the National Park. ZipWorld and its famous zip line 7 miles away. 20min walk down steep hill into the village with pretty marina and pubs. Sorry no pets.

Our family cottage is full of character and charm and has been in the family for over 90 years. Built in the 1820s, it has lots of original features; open fireplace, yet has the comforts of modern living ; wifi, central heating. Versatile and very comfortable trundle beds, which convert to either a single, twin or king size in bedrooms- sleeps 4. A peaceful, rural location with stunning sea view over the bay, a dog friendly pub 8 mins walk away and 30 mins walk down the hill to the beach.

Based right at the heart of the land where dragons roar & mountains sing Allt Lwyd is perfectly placed to provide a peaceful haven for exploring. Situated between the two historic bridges providing access to Anglesey & the Snowdonia National Park. The owners live close by & offer a warm welcome to their newly refurbished cottage. North Wales has become the adventure centre of Europe, from sailing to surfing, climbing to caving. It does get busy but staying at Allt Lwyd you'd never ever guess

A central location, as well as a stunning south facing garden with panoramic views of Snowdonia's famous mountain range including Snowdon. The garden is contained and private, perfect for enjoying al fresco dining and soaking up the all day sunshine. The cottage is within 1 min walking distance of bars, restaurants, shops, cafes, a play park, bus route to climbing Snowdon and 2 mins walking distance to the lake.
