We had to go back and start over when trying to find the cabin initially because GPS takes you to the very end but if you follow the directions that are provided exactly you will have no trouble finding the cabins location and once you arrive check in was super easy and the cabin is absolutely gorgeous! It came terrible storms two days of our stay but the other days the hot tub was perfect, we only wished it was under cover since there was still a light drizzle! You do have neighbors but they are far enough away so that the cabin still feels very private. Our only issue was the downstairs bed was not very comfortable for us so we wound up moving to the bed in the loft which was much more comfortable. Downtown Helen is less than a five minute drive and we absolutely enjoyed exploring all the shops! We truly had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again! Thanks for providing a great 21 year anniversary stay!

The Shed was absolutely darling and perfect for a weekend getaway with my family. The fire pit and hot tub elevated our stay and helped us relax after a long day exploring Helen. We had everything we needed inside and even discovered a new card game we loved from the stock available. We enjoyed the decor and everything was very clean. The beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. The host had very clear communication with thorough instructions for check in and check out which gave us the opportunity to enjoy the weekend instead of getting lost in the details. We even saw a few deer and owls outside. Absolutely would recommend anyone looking to have a nice, laid back, quiet vacation to stay here!

Very cute and cozy, and the decor made the spaces feel so luxurious! The location was absolutely perfect; close to everything, but the surrounding trees and views made the cabin feel like it was on top of a mountain. My boys loved the loft setup and arcade table! Wonderful little mountain retreat!

This place was exactly as pictured! I went for a birthday getaway and it was exactly how I wanted, but better. It was so peaceful and quiet sitting on the swings reading and it was even better just relaxing, watching TV in the jacuzzi tub. There was a lot to do without even leaving the property, although I still recommend going to the town of Helen. The hosts were very responsive in dealing with any and all of my concerns, which were hardly any. They are also very detailed with instructions from the beginning, so that was a relief. I would most definitely come here again! The road coming up is also a beautiful site as well. Do be mindful of deer! We passed a group of 5 at one point and then just random individuals at times, so this is definitely a perfect nature getaway!

What a great little cabin! The deck is amazing, the hot tub was wonderful and the cabin itself is very comfy! Mark was wonderful at answering all of our questions (even offering to bring us some pliers to fix a fishing pole). I would highly recommend this place, the canoe was a ton of fun, the views were beautiful, and the fire pit is perfectly situated over the lake!! We are looking forward to visiting again soon!!

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful mountain retreat with my parents and our three kids! The home had plenty of space for all of us, and the large yard was a dream—our kids loved exploring and especially playing by the creek. The setting is incredibly relaxing, with the sounds of the water and the option to unwind in the hot tub or around the fire pit. The location was perfect for us—just a quick drive to both Helen and Cleveland, which made day trips super easy. We enjoyed the charm of Helen, local wineries, and scenic hikes nearby. The wraparound screened porch was a favorite spot for morning coffee and evening chats. The hosts thought of everything to make our stay comfortable! Highly recommend for families or anyone looking to relax and enjoy the beauty of North Georgia.

We had an amazing time here at this beautiful cabin. The host had clear instructions on how to get access to the rental, and they were extremely friendly. The cabin has a wonderful atmosphere and amazing amenities. We encourage everyone to who wants a peaceful experience on an affordable budget to visit this cabin. On top of all of this the beautiful town of Helen is only a 10-15 min walk. 10 out of 10 !!

I stayed here for the Tour of Georgia Gran Fondo - so will add some commentary for any cyclists out there! This unit was in a pretty good location for the race, but I didn't want to bike in / out as there is some super steep gravel to access the unit. Hot tub is perfect for unwinding after a big day. Spacious living room to lay out your gear and build up your bike if traveling with it. Sleeping - comfy bed and ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom to cool things down in the hot Georgia weather. The hot tub can be heard overnight when it cycles, probably since it's on the wooden deck but it wasn't loud enough to wake me up overnight. Overall I'd stay here again - I'm usually a Marriott person but the Fairfield Inn did not offer the same value for the dollar!

This was the best home we have ever stayed at. Beautiful location, private yet close to everything. Everything you needed to have an amazing time.

Elisabeth was such a wonderful host, extremely communicative and responsive. The property was gorgeous and described perfectly. From the hottub instructions, to the heads up about the narrow staircase, nothing at the property was a surprise or unexpected. Very peaceful and relaxing, April was the perfect time to visit, in our opinion. Nothing crazy going on nearby, not too busy anywhere we went including State Parks, and restaurants. Weather was beautiful and the fresh air was much needed. My husband and I have decided we’d like to make this an annual trip and continue to stay at this property when possible.

Jessica is a great host! She was proactive in making sure we would easily be able to find Bear Ridge. Her directions were very helpful. Jessica is quick to respond to question and she made sure to follow up. Bear Ridge is a beautiful cabin in the middle of the woods. The peace and quiet were just what we needed. Somehow Jessica is able to anticipate what we would need during our stay. The fenced in front yard was great for our digs as was the hot tub for us humans after a long day of hiking. You can't beat the proximity of Bear Ridge to downtown Helen. You are able to walk downtown and not worry about parking. We are already talking about making a trip to Helen and Bear Ridge an annual Easter tradition.

Honestly this was probably the best vacation I have ever been on for ALOT of reasons. The cabin was so gorgeous and even tho it was just me and my hubby it would be PERFECT for more people too. The game room was so much fun. The cabin is out in the mountains but just a few minutes from an adorable little German town! Do it's great way to "have it all" peacefulness of being lost in the woods and the do it all of a bustling town! The cabin it's self is a dream come true, it was so comfy and beautiful.

The place was great and super clean. Close enough to town, so you can walk and no need for a car ($10 for full day of parking in town). The loft was awesome since you can wake up with the natural lighting coming from the window, and the bed was comfortable. The downstairs room was great as well. The shower was on the smaller side, and we wish it had a different shower head (like the one with a hose), but overall, very clean and comfortable bathroom. The jacuzzi was great and spacious for 2 adults and 2 kids. The kitchen had everything except a pizza pan, but we managed to make a pizza with a metal tin the oven had inside. Overall was a great experience; the place was really nice, cozy and comfortable. It was close to town, but it was far enough that it was quiet, so we had a really good night of sleep. Definitely recommended and would go back.

We stayed here five years ago on our honeymoon, so we decided this year for our anniversary, we were going to stay here again. It was lovely, just like last time - the fireplace is so nice, the kitchen is quite well stocked for an AirBNB (we've seen some bad ones, and we've always been able to cook easily in this kitchen!), and there are plenty of extra blankets should you need them. Our son liked the game room downstairs, and there's plenty of room to let our dog play. There are DVDs and an HDMI cable. Had it been warmer, we'd have loved using the fire pit, too. Plenty of room, and the binder full of things to do is a nice touch (and so is the hiding game!). Do note: the grocery store is a solid twenty minutes away, so it's not a quick run down the street. Highly recommend planning on one big grocery run should you need to. There are usually miscellaneous basic spices and such in the cupboard. There is also not a first aid kit as far as we could tell. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at this cabin while in town helping build the new Tractor Supply store for the community. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed after long workdays. It’s in a peaceful location, which made it easy to relax and recharge. Would definitely stay here again if we're back in the area!

The cabin was better than we imagined! I would go back many times! The lake and the accessories for being on the water were great! All the kitchen utensils were perfect! Everything was very clean! It definitely deserves 5 stars!

I stay in a lot of airbnbs and this was a favorite for me! Monica was an exceptional host with lots of little items that made a big difference Toothbrush was a big win because my son forgot his! Fishing rods since we didn’t have ours. Honestly there was so much thoughtfulness I can’t list them all! House is small but perfect for 3-4 people. Fire pit was great and the river is private and BEAUTIFUL. I enjoyed the 5 minute walk through the woods. Bed was comfortable. Shower nice. Everything new and clean. We didn’t use the downstairs but maybe next time! We would love to get back here again some time.

The cabin was great! It had everything we needed for our stay. If you are a light sleeper, you might bring some ear plugs as the wall unit for the heat/ac is pretty loud. The tasting room was only a few short steps away which was super convenient, the wines were delicious, and Macy and Whitney were the BEST! We had our dog with us and she was welcomed inside and given many pets and treats, and Buddy the winery dog was the goodest boy!

This is a clean, attractive, and peaceful cabin. We enjoyed it very much. It is immersed in nature.

This property is perfect for a peaceful weekend or holiday. It is exactly as described and in close proximity to several parks, trailheads, and charming North Georgia towns. John is very personable and informative about the property and the surrounding area. I highly recommend a stay at the Crow’s Nest!

Beautiful cabin, spacious. Location was great, close to both Helen and Cleveland but quiet country. Game room helped keep the kids happy when the weather wasn’t conducive to much outside time. Peaceful place to relax after spending time in town.

We LOVED this property! My family and I booked a last minute get a way for the Thanksgiving holiday. We are so grateful that our host, Sidney, was able to accept our request to book on such short notice. The cabin was in excellent condition and everything was exactly as described in the listing. The property was beautiful, just as pictured. Our host was extremely helpful and responded very quickly. They even sent a message the next morning to make sure we were enjoying our stay and asked if there were any concerns. When we arrived everything was spotless and very well maintained. The fireplace was definitely the highlight of our stay. The location of this cabin was fantastic, we were far enough away to feel secluded but close enough to the nearby towns Dahlonega and Helen to explore. I would definitely recommend this cabin, especially during the holiday season. We had a blast!
