A perfect base for biking , walking or visiting the North Yorkshire moors , East coast or York. There are lots of local village pubs within 2.5 miles of us where you can go for a drink or meal or even visit the food capital of Malton

The Garden Room

Two renovated old buildings have been converted into a quiet, one bedroom, self contained Garden room. In the centre of Slingsby village, you are well placed to explore the beautiful surrounding areas of Yorkshire. A modern kitchen with fridge, microwave and cooker is equipped for preparing delicious meals. A wall mounted television with Netflix is available. The sleeping area hosts a double bed with wall hanging for clothes, adjacent to which is a bright shower room with heated towel rail.

The Old Workshop

Tucked away in a little farming hamlet in the Howardian Hills, this newly renovated old workshop adjoins our cottage, with its own entrance and patio. Well situated for exploring North Yorkshire, moors, coast, wolds, historic York, market towns and stately homes, we hope you will be rested and refreshed by your stay here. Nearby there are lovely walks and cycle rides if you fancy staying local. We provide a welcome basket of muesli, granola, bread, butter and jam as well as teas, coffee etc.

It also the perfect place to watch the sunset and later on the gaze at the beautiful clear night skies. If wildlife is your thing, there is plenty to see from our resident barn owl to the deer grazing in the early morning. This spacious pod has a fully equipped kitchen and underfloor heating.
