We are 10 minutes from the centre of basingstoke 2 minutes by car to the main hospital and 5 minutes from the railway station There is an abundance of country walks for those who like the outdoors. Cliddesden is a village on the edge of the North Hampshire Downs yet close to the town of Basingstoke. Guests staying here can enjoy lovely country walks whilst still very close to the amenities of Basingstoke. Our studio is very spacious with it`s own patio and garden furniture, weather permitting. Kitchenette has limited facilities but a popular country pub is within a 5 minute walk and offers great Thai and English food. Smart TV, Ethernet and WiFi available.

Thatched Grade ll property in Ashford Hill

A detached, Grade ll, 200 year old thatched cottage in the small village of Ashford Hill, close to Newbury. My husband Andy and I own this one bedroom cottage, which has been carefully furnished and has parking and a small dedicated outdoor space.. It is an ideal base to explore the local area. Guests can visit Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey), attend the races at Newbury Race Course or enjoy the walks in the surrounding area including Watership Down.
