We had a great stay. Loved the large fenced in yard, fire pit and hot tub. The place was very clean and had lots of kids toys and games

Absolutely perfect from start to finish. Exactly what we were looking for during our weekend stay. We went back and forth from the cozy wood burning fireplace inside to the hot tub with the best winter weather. Just perfect.

Lovely stay, we stayed for a weekend and were thoroughly happy with our stay! The place was very clean, and the amenities such as the hot tub were very nice and relaxing. Definitely worth it, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice relaxing getaway. The beds were very comfy as well, and there were lots of towels for our group of 10. 10/10!

We had a wonderful stay at Callandra's place. The photo's do not do justice to how pretty this home is and in such a lovely area. Tons of space for all of us, we were 4 couples. Lots of extras like games, movies, cozy blankets. The home is fully stocked with everything you need. Our hosts were great to deal with and even sent us a special treat along with some extra supplies, so thoughtful! We would absolutely recommend this amazing getaway to anyone and definitely want to return. Thank you very much to our hosts Callandra and Jeff.

Can is a wonderful and responsive host. Great communication. This place is comfortable and has that cottage vibe we were looking for. Great restaurants nearby and the water is a short walk down the road. Highly recommended.

If you are reading this review to try and decide between this place and others then just stop and book it now!!! I stay at a lot of Airbnb’s and by far the best one yet, there’s just to many positive things to say about the place. You will love it no matter what, family, couple, single all are welcome and comfortable here for sure!!! Also finally a place that has EVERYthing you couple possibly need… Highest recommendation I could give!!!!

From the moment we arrived, we could not believe our good fortune! The Sugar Shack was even better than the photos, the well prepared guest book answered all of our questions and our host was quick to respond to extra queries. Betty went above and beyond to accommodate us as a family, wanting to celebrate Easter together in the Bayfield/Goderich area. We would most certainly want to visit the Sugar Shack in the future ! It was just that sweet!! Thank you, Betty!

I've stayed about five times at the Cottage. We go back because we love the space it's so open, and outside there's so much green space and so much to do depending on the weather! We always enjoy a night at Cowbell which is so close! On cold nights you can snuggle by the fireplace and keep warm and cozy. The hosts were great at keeping the snow out of the laneway so we could get in and out. Thanks again Melanie we really had a great time!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the A Frame cottage! Tons of walking trails through the property, beautiful pond with the cutest little duck family! Was a great stay and would definitely recommend!

The cottage was perfectly quaint and so cozy! Exactly what we were looking for - a place to relax, read, and walk along the beach. We stayed 3 nights in early November, so we cozied up inside mostly, but I could see spending more time down on the beach during summer. The uninterrupted view of the horizon is incredible! (FYI, there are ~100 stairs down to the beach, but it's worth it) Bayfield and Goderich are very close, both delightful towns to spend an afternoon walking around in, visiting the local shops. I would not hesitate to come back again, we felt we very rejuvenated after our long weekend here.

This adorable cottage was exactly what I was looking for when booking a quiet weekend away without the kiddo. The space had everything you needed and more! The hosts were proactive, friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay feel extra special. Thank you so much, and we would love to come back again!

George was super helpful and very responsive. His cottage was such a wonderful place to be with family. It’s a huge, open space with gorgeous views and a private backyard. Our stay was great! The airbnb was so cozy- it was the perfect winter getaway with the fireplaces and cozy atmosphere of the home. Our host was great and we even extended our stay an extra day because we loved it so much! We highly recommend going to the local museum (it’s a bit hard to access the lake in the winter from our experience because it snowed a bunch but there’s still lots to do). Would definitely go again!

It was a last minute decision to book a weekend away, and the hosts made everything super easy! They responded quickly to questions and the place offered all the comforts of home (with no chores to do!). A beautiful, clean place for a relaxing weekend. I will definitely book here again! Thank you!

I have been coming to this cottage fairly regularly for a few years because it is an oasis of serenity. The cottage is indeed cozy and well appointed with everything you could need. And the owners of this lovely place are wonderful....welcoming and responsive.

We had such a wonderful time at the Blue Coral! We felt right at home, exceptionally clean in all rooms and bathrooms, lots of space and not to mention such an amazing location. I would for sure book Paul’s place again in the future! Thank you so much for accommodating our group!

We visited Crista's place for a peaceful girls trip and it was fantastic! The information shared was clear and helpful, and she went the extra mile for our winter stay to make sure we were safe and didn't slip anywhere. The views were beautiful and we had a great time!

Jacquelien’s little piece of paradise exceeded our expectations! The cottage and surrounding areas including the beach were pristine. The beds were extremely comfortable and linens, towels ect…. We had an amazing stay at the Cozy Cottage. Place was exactly as described - great space inside kitted out with everything we needed. Bed was super comfy and the hot tub and sauna were both excellent. Hosts were great - easy to communicate with any helpful with local recommendations. It’s a really private and peaceful getaway - we will be back for sure.

Kind and understanding host. Was able to accommodate a later check in time and I didn’t feel rushed. Beautiful property! Hope to be allowed to visit again

We have been visiting the Pinery and the Grand Bend area for years so this was a wonderful opportunity to enjoy our favorite beach and woodlands from a quiet neighborhood with a clean comfortable house to relax in. A weekend of fossil hunting at the beach and walking the woods was topped off by being able to walk to the Sunday Flea Market. Great spot! Thanks

We loved our stay at Carl & Louise’s place! It was perfect for our family of 5 adults. Lots of space for sleep and privacy, but also great communal spots. The kitchen is extremely well equipped! We did lots of cooking for Thanksgiving, and we never lacked for tools or dishes. We also love how their house is nestled in a lovely forested neighbourhood. Very peaceful and quiet. And so close to the private beach. Stunning! I would go back in a heartbeat! Highly recommend.

Stayed here for a couple of nights. We found the cottage was cozy, spacious, and impeccably clean. Kitchen appliances are modern and bathrooms are clean and renovated. The location is fairly private and only a short drive to Pinery Provincial Park. Since it was winter we did not spend any time in the yard, but I imagine the firepit would be an excellent experience the rest of the year. One thing that was unexpected were the rules regarding not flushing toilet paper. I understand septic systems can be sensitive, but I have not come across this request in the past with any cottage/cabin on septic. Overall a great experience.
