Berkeley Hills Maybeck Cottage

Built in 1925, Maybecks' “Cubby” is your private, rustic, 750 sq ft, carriage house located less than a mile from Cal. Homey and basic - the deck is great for lunch, dinner, or just hanging out. It's an easy walk down to the gourmet ghetto, Thursday Markets, buses and BART. Carport provided, a car is recommended (hey it's located in the hills.) Not baby proofed, minimal fencing - sorry, no pets, babies or toddlers. Smoke free, no butts about it. Sorry, no loud music, or large gatherings.

A 450 sqft charming studio with all the amenities you need to make your stay comfortable. Close to many locations ( restaurants and stores within a mile, BART a mile away), yet secluded enough in a suburban setting surrounded by Oak trees and our backyard creek. We pride ourselves in keeping the studio pristine. Our host reviews attest to that :-) We live in the main house adjacent to the studio and welcome any chance to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Cozy Home + Garden in the Hills

Nestled at the top of the Berkeley Hills, just outside Tilden national reserve, with beautiful views of the bay from the neighborhood. There is a bedroom, bathroom, and central room with kitchenette. The space is cozy and fit for a maximum of 2 visitors. The yard fully fenced and private for you and any four legged travelers. Pets do require a separate cleaning fee so we ask you register them as you book.

Painting Studio in the Trees

Located halfway up the steep Berkeley hillside in a quiet residential area. The space has amazing natural light with 4 skylights and garden facing windows. There is a patio deck with table and chairs to enjoy meals outdoors. Previously an art studio, now a simple detached cottage at the entrance of our property. Our modern, light-filled apartment at garden level includes a spacious main living and kitchen space, and a large bedroom, and luxurious bathroom. We have have Hepa filters in the apartment to ensure cleanliness and maximize environmental safety.
