The rustic cabin sits along a creek under the Redwood canopy, minutes from Highway 1. It is a 1 bedroom studio with a queen bed and an additional Murphy wall bed available when needed. On a narrow paved road, winding through the redwoods, with quick and easy access to Hwy 1. Our main cabin is a 2 bed/1 bath, sleeps 4 people. Open living, dining and kitchen area. Large wrap around deck. Wood burning stove is the main source of heat in this cabin. Smaller studio cabin on property, is rented separately.

Our location is on a quiet dead-end street in the beautiful redwood forested mountains above Felton. We have an intimate private suite (bedroom with Queen bed, sitting room and bath), with its own entrance. We have a wide view of the San Lorenzo Valley, and are only 2 miles from downtown Felton. Access to hiking, mountain biking, coast trail and surfing is within minutes. We are taking the current coronavirus situation very seriously, and have implemented advanced cleaning procedures.

Carmel Rustic Cabin Like a Treehouse + Dog

Stay in our Carmel Rustic Cabin along with your dogs (see dog fee below) while shopping, visiting local wineries and restaurants or just walking your dog off-leash along Carmel's white sandy beach. Hidden in the woods, our rustic cabin is like a treehouse with all the amenities and minutes from downtown and the beaches. FYI the coast drive is now accessible between here and LA, but may be shut down during stormy weather, so be sure to follow local weather reports or just call Caltrans.
