April is a lovely hostess. We own our own short-term rental in Tuscaloosa that we rented for the LSU game, but we quickly got FOMO and wanted to go ourselves. We only needed a room for the night and April's was perfect for a night of rest after the game.

The place is very nice. It is clean and modern. True, it is on the 3rd floor, and initially those stairs looked daunting, but it sounds worse than it was. Everything inside looked new and probably bought specifically for it to be used as an Air BnB. There was coffee with creamer and sugar (no filters), toilet paper, and soap. Our trip to the store was mostly only for the food we wanted, plus a roll of paper towels. Wifi and TV worked well. We were in town for a UA football game. The condo is 2 miles from the stadium and it’s a pretty level walk. There were some parts of the walk without a sidewalk, but those were short sections. There are plenty of other people walking that far after a game, and it’s better than sitting in traffic. TIP: When you come through the gate to the community, make an immediate left. Drive to the end and make another left. The building is the second one. The building numbers are not always easy to see, and that will save you from driving around too much.

Anne's place is like combination historical museum and art gallery. It's quirky and comfortable. Enjoyed hours out on the balcony; watching two fog banks come together under Edmund Pettus Bridge at sunset was extraordinary. Had problem with AC the first night; Beth got right on it and had HVAC people there and problem fixed before 9 a.m. the next day, even though it was the weekend. Fans in the meantime kept me cool enough. They were good about answering questions, and always pleasant. If I ever return to Selma, I want to stay at the Bridge Tender's House again. If you go, don't miss photos in bedroom that show the original bridge that the tender tended. One photo shows edge of front porch of the house, practically on top of the bridge. Another is wording of newspaper article cautioning people to not drive or ride their horse across the original bridge at any speed faster than a walk. Tender had authority to arrest people who violated that local law.

I enjoyed my stay and I would make reservations again if needed to. All the information for our stay was provided on time.

Man this was a great spot in demopolis I was skeptical at first but when we all checked in we was amazed at the luxury furniture bedroom was amazing and bathroom this is definitely a good spot to book I really enjoyed myself it’s a 10 out of 10

Excellent location for Parent's Weekend. Fully stocked and very very responsive and helpful Host! The place was a PERFECT stay and we WILL BE BACK!

Miss Ann was the most amazing host! This was my first stay at an air bnb for clinicals. She greeted me at the beginning of the stay and left heaven sent pound cake as a welcome gift! The house felt very tucked away from the world and peaceful! The fridge in the kitchen is perfect for a single person staying for at least a month with plenty of freezer space. I left early in the morning, check out was easy. Only down side was she made cookies for my departure but I left before she could give them to me. Miss Ann is a total gem, and after my heart with her baking! If I ever find myself In Greensboro in the future, I would definitely book here again! ❤️

Absolute five star treatment. Location is perfect for my business trips with plenty to do and see within walking distance. Jesse went above and beyond to ensure I was happy!
