The enclosed front porch is perfect for drinking coffee, reading, or working at the provided desk. The kitchen is stocked with the essentials. The TV is connected to the Wi-Fi network. You can cast to the TV via an HDMI cord or play DVDs.

Located in the quiet village of Whittington, the property has great access to the area while providing a peaceful stay on the edge of the country. Our property has multiple rental buildings, but there is plenty of parking space for anyone traveling with a pickup and trailer.

The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. Built in 1921 this Bungalow features large rooms to gather. Bedrooms are spacious with walk in closets and new queen size Sealy Posturepedic mattresses. The kitchen has all the amenities of home. Linens and towels are provided. Bathroom has tub/shower combo. This cabin is located on our 20 acre property, less than 10 minutes from Rend Lake, I57 access, and public hunting land and within 1 hour of the Shawnee National Forest. Includes use of kayaks, fishing poles for the catch & release pond, and a walking trail. Bow target use available upon request. Gas grill, firepit and firewood. PLEASE NOTE: its a 12x20 studio cabin with 1 full bed and 1 twin sized foam couch sleeper. We don't allow pets.

We are only 5.1 miles from the magnificent historic Cedarhurst Center for the Arts and 18 miles from the beautiful Rend Lake. Our property has been made with the conveniences of being ADA accessible. A one level home with a step in shower and newly added ramp for easier entry. We do also offer fishing from our gazebo on our large pond. The home includes utensils you may need to make a meal.
