A beautiful house with everything you need and wonderful surroundings. Snaefellsnes is the place to live if you want a nature experience and many places to drive to.

Ein großzügiges Haus mit einer tollen Wohlfühl-Atmosphäre. Leider hat der Whirlpool nicht funktioniert und die Küche war nicht so sauber.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce charmant chalet qui nous a permis de visiter les péninsules du Nord Ouest Islandais. Thorvaldur a été particulièrement compréhensif et prévenant lorsque nous avons eu du retard le jour du départ en raison de problèmes météorologiques. Encore merci et bonne continuation ! Je recommande ++

I had the great fortune to visit with three other ladies. We only had one night, but we did manage to use the hot tub. This is something I would not miss. It’s the best therapy after a long travel day. We loved the quiet, farm setting with ample space inside the house . The large windows were perfect to look for the northern lights. One of us left their wallet behind, and graciously our host went out of their way to bring it to us. We all agreed, we would wished we had more time here.

Fabulous place with breath-taking views of the mountains, short stroll to a peaceful lake, soothing mineral water in the hot tub, and a well-stocked kitchen. We loved our time here and wish we could have stayed longer. Perfect for a 2 or 3 family visit, with toys and books for kids. A great home base for exploring Iceland. Ragnhildur and Astridur are gracious hosts.

Very beautiful house in a very private location. All Information on how to find it were provided so we even found it at night since we arrived there at 3am. We found it to be bigger in real life than it looked in the pictures which was a positive suprise. Especially the living room and the upper floor bedroom.

The house is a true dream. In the cutest spot and it has more than anything you could ask for. Only note, the link to the address leads to a wrong road. It is better to follow the host’s instructions to get to the house.

Underbart hus med vacker omgivning, elmar va alltid snabb på att svara ifall vi hade frågor. Vi trivdes super bra och om vi åker hit igen är detta ett självklart boende

Het huis ligt op een hoogte met prachtig uitzicht en wordt omgeven door land met relatief veel vogels. Veel plekken op Snaefellsnes zijn goed te bereiken. De laatste kilometers naar het huis zijn onverhard, maar een 4x4 is niet nodig. Er is een goed bed dat maar net in de slaapkamer past, de uitrusting is ruim voldoende. De wifi-gegevens op de site van Airbnb waren niet juist, maar stonden in het gastenschrift, dus dat was snel opgelost.

Wir haben die Unterkunft für unsere Montage gebucht. Buchung ging wie immer einfach und unkompliziert. Hervorragende, saubere Unterkunft wie auf den Bildern. Wir waren wieder sehr zufrieden und würden das Airbnb jederzeit wieder buchen! 5 von 5 Sternen!

We enjoyed our brief stay and wish we could have stayed longer. The cabin is beautiful, well stocked with lots of extras like olive oil, cooking spices and condiments. The large deck was perfect for star gazing and the hot tub was an excellent place to relax at the end of a long day hiking. We loved it.

Nice cabin amongst the woods in Husafell. We were fortunate to enjoy the aurora from the deck on both nights! The floor heating made the cabin cosy. Husafell is wonderful place to enjoy nature, including several treks nearby, and Karl's cabin provided a nice home base.

Séjour dune journée avec ma sœur. Petit chalet situé en périphérie de Borgarnes (environ 10 minutes de voiture). Facile à trouver avec des instructions claires du propriétaire. Prise de possession flexible avec boîte à clef. Accueil par l’adorable chien des voisins. Coin tranquille avec vue sur l’eau. Stationnement sur place. Logement propre. Équipement fonctionnel. The cabin we stayed in at Guðbjörg’s farm was EXACTLY what we were looking for. It is not far from Borgarnes where there are stores and excellent restaurants, but is secluded in a beautiful valley. The skies were dark and we were lucky enough to see great Northern Lights. It was the perfect size for our family of 4 to rest and relax, and our kids loved the loft area. We will have not hesitation in recommending this place for others!

A lovely, spacious and homely apartment, located on a quiet road near amenities. Perfect location for excursions to the Snæfellsnes peninsula. The place was spotlessly clean and comfortable - we had great nights sleep! The kitchen was well equipped. The host was polite and super responsive. Highly recommended!! We loved Rebecca’s place - really warm and welcoming as soon as you step inside and the views are amazing. It was snowing when we arrived and it snowed heavily overnight, so we were glad of our wee 4x4 with its snow tyres, when we eventually ventured out for food and provisions. The road to the cottage is very challenging in the snow and ice. The cottage itself is well equipped and very comfortable - we both slept really well. All in all, we highly recommend Rebecca’s place - we spent a lot more time there than we do in most airbnbs due to the weather - it’s a lovely place to relax.

This was a perfect jump off point for exploring the area! Short drive in every direction for hikes and attractions. Sleepy little town with amazing views right out front. Loa was wonderful with recommendations and information. The home was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Our family loved staying in this remote cabin in spring. Very cosy and intimate, even if a bit run down. We climbed the mountain cliff nearby with our kids and enjoyed wonderful views over the moors and the mountains.
