Lovely house - very peaceful and quiet. We had a lovely time but it’s worth noting for those new to the area that it’s about an hour drive away from Lake Windermere - something I quite hadn’t realised or appreciated beforehand!

It was a really good stay for my girlfriend’s birthday. She was very helpful. I’d never used air bnb before. And arranged this last minute.

Perfect for a wee break away. Views are amazing and weather was perfect.

We would highly recommend this place. Amazing location to walk Scafell Pike and view the local Loch as well as do other walks. Really clean and comfortable, great hosts. If we were going to that area again we would book without hesitation - thank you!

We had a lovely 4-night stay at Teapot Cottage over Easter 2025. The property was clean, comfortable, and had everything our family of five needed. The location was peaceful and picturesque—perfect for a relaxing break. The hot tub was a highlight—clean and ready to enjoy on arrival which was great for unwinding in the evenings. Inside, everything was well-equipped, from the kitchen to the cosy living areas. Communication from the host, Lammisa, was excellent throughout. Clear instructions were provided, and she was quick to respond to any questions. We’d happily recommend this place to others and would definitely return for another family getaway. Absolutely perfect! We love staying here, it has everything you need to feel immediately at home, relaxed and comfortable. The surrounding countryside is just beautiful and the views from the hot tub are what makes staying here even more special! Catherine and Ian are very attentive hosts and Catherine was very responsive to any questions we had. We love this cottage and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, private, relaxing and very special place to stay in the Lake District.

I choose this cabin to get some studying done over a couple of days, and it was perfect for that, soo quiet and peaceful, and you actually need to sit out on the decking at night when the skies are clear and stargaze , absolutely stunning, no street lights, or any lights for that matter , feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, but a small local village and shops just 2 minutes away , would definitely book this place again

We absolutely loved our Christmas at Seaglass Cottage. The hosts were great, answered any questions, gave us detailed instructions for check-in and even put up a Christmas tree and decorations for us. We were very lucky with the weather, enjoying walks along the beach right outside, we even found some seaglass (we felt like children!). The property was very clean, the bedding smelled so fresh, the kitchen had everything you might need, very clean bathroom and handy downstairs loo. Every evening we would sit in the cosy conservatory enjoying a glass of wine, watching the sun go down, people walking along the beachpath with their dogs and then into the lounge for a real log fire. It was perfect and we can't wait to return!

We stayed for 2 nights, and our only regret was that we didn’t book for longer! It is such a beautiful area and we found the surroundings so relaxing. There is so much to explore and do within short driving distance, and the recommendations from the hosts were very appreciated-I would say a car is a must though as it is very rural. The property was stunning, so clean and beautifully designed and all the finishing touches really made it special. It had everything we needed and more. The hosts are fantastic, leaving fresh eggs, milk and butter on arrival alongside flowers and chocolates etc. They are very responsive and friendly, and told us everything we needed to know. Thank you so much, we look forward to staying again one day!
