We had a lovely long weekend at Andrew's cottage. It was easy to get to and easy to get in! It was just like staying at a friend's house, with some nice personal touches. We had no trouble parking outside. There are a couple of local shops for essentials, and also take aways. We enjoyed meeting the lovely dog next door, and our two pooches made use of Andrew's back garden. We spent a day in Lancaster, and a day in Morecambe. We also enjoyed walkies at the local parks. The house was warm, and the beds were comfy! Made some happy memories.

Julia was extremely warm and welcoming. The space felt fresh, tidy, and very comfortable.We felt genuinely cared for, not just as guests but as valued visitors. Quick and helpful responses to any questions. One of the best stays we had till now. Also thanks for her wonderful suggestions regarding where one can go and to plan the itinerary. Myles and his little place was excellent, location was great parking was about 100m away and a reasonable price, Myles answered my emails promptly and everything he said was accurate. I would definitely recommend this place again if I am in the village visiting friends again I would have no reservations about rebooking Thanks Myles great host great place could not have asked for more

We had a wonderful time staying with Sarah and Mark. Absolutely lovely home and friendly, welcoming hosts. The studio is stunning and comfortable. It was a lovely touch that breakfast was included. We felt so at home and comfortable here and quickly made friends with dog and toddler! We loved it here.

I love every bit about our stay with Tim and Trina, the place clean and homely. Tim and Trina are great hosts, friendly, responsive and warmly welcoming. I absolutely love the property, decorated so beautifully without losing the touch of a home. Bathroom and linen everything is super clean, smell good and they had pretty much everything to make sure of relaxing and peaceful stay including handmade soap and bathing salt. Five stars, without a hesitation!!! ❤️❤️❤️

The details are what separate good stays from great ones. Hause Hall has thought these through to the last inch and it boasts unbeatable charm with a location that provides spectacular views and proximity to nature. It would be a mistake to keep searching for a better stay!

I stayed at Bleasdale Apartment as a single guest. The apartment was stunning, well equipped and extremely clean with beautiful decor and furnishings. The appliances were of top quality and easy to use. Very comfortable king size bed. I enjoyed a fabulous full cooked breakfast in the Priory, it was delicious. Very friendly host and staff. I will definitely stay again . Simply perfect. ❤️

Beautiful cottage in great location in the centre of town and handy for the Lakes. Spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished with lots of lovely touches like a beautiful bunch of flowers and goodies on arrival. Highly recommended.

What a lovely find for a last minute get away. Very easy to book and communication was excellent. We were greeted by Martin, who offered to help with our luggage, quirky followed by Howard. Both hosts were friendly, chatty and welcoming and were available if we needed anything during our stay. Howie provided us with a parking permit, a bargain at £5 and Martin showed us to our suite to make sure we were happy. Recommendations for places to visit were also given The suite was spotless and had everything we needed for our short stay. Bed was super comfy, fluffy towels and it was great to have a living area to relax when we returned later in the evening. On leaving the following morning, Martin came to say bye and again offered to carry our luggage. We had a lovely time, great hosts and will definitely return and recommend to family and friends. Thanks Martin and Howie.

Excellent Airbnb with everything as described and to a high standard. Friendly hosts who provide a very cosy and comfortable place to stay. The location is peaceful and close to the waterways and beautiful views and sunsets. Good choice of eateries close by. Highly recommended.

Stayed 4 days in Paul’s lovely cottage, just a short walk from Hawkshead village. The accommodations were as expected and Paul could not have been a more gracious host. He has a wealth of local knowledge and directed us on some beautiful walks. Breakfasts were fantastic! Would absolutely return in a heartbeat.

Beautiful warm clean accommodation . The bed was the most comfortable I’ve slept in. Bathroom was large, very clean and hot water. Julie left us a wide choice of breakfast including vegan, lovely. Very private and quiet, parking. Attention to detail was great “sheep” .

Fantastic place to stay in the Lake Distric. We went with our own car and there is private parking at the place itself. It is close to the main beautiful towns, lakes and mountains of the district, fitting every plan you might have around the area. We cannot speak about public transport from our own experience. Stuff was so welcoming, communication was so easy and they were giving us advice on the possible plans around the area, making us feel at home. We will definetly come back on our next visit to the district.

We found the Kentrigg House accommodation spacious and very comfortable. The private sitting area with it's own TV is a great place to relax before going to bed. Elizabeth's continental breakfasts are wonderful. Breakfast is served in a large conservatory with great views across the valley. A relaxing and enjoyable stay. We will book again!

Brian's farmhouse was a delight to stay in. Brian was a great host and has an understated warmth about him. he was very helpful advising us to pre-book the local restaurant as it often books up and the meal was great. for the surroundings, this area was simply unbelievable. like something out of Tolkien. very happy with the stay wouldn't change a thing

Had a peaceful nights sleep, Jacqueline and Geoff are friendly warm welcoming hosts. And Geoffs home made granola was heavenly, thank you so so much. The room was warm cosy perfect 💚✨🌳

Diane was a very responsive host and an extremely lovely person. She and Ian were very helpful, the location of the BnB was excellent, the room was lovely and clean with a comfortable bed and nice hot shower. Diane’s cooking was also incredible, we enjoyed two very lovely breakfasts. We would absolutely stay again!

Lovely welcoming house and hosts, in a beautiful area with outstanding countryside, lakes & hills. Room had all facilities , restful and comfy ; attention to detail exceptional and a brilliant breakfast in the room . Recommend !

We had the most magical stay at Kates idilic countryside paradise. A cosy, quirky home filled with Kate’s treasures and creativity, and also lots of cats which made me very happy. We visited with our 8 month old which is always a bit tense staying in someone else home when travelling with a baby but she made us feel extremely welcome, greeting us on arrival with a cosy fire ready for us. Although we didn’t get much sleep as our baby was in a sleep regression, the beautiful and peaceful surroundings certainly made up for this. The rooms are beautifully decorated, with breathtaking views from the comfort of your bed. I could have stayed there all day staring out the window. After long days of hiking, it was such a pleasure being able to retreat to Kates cosy house, making use of the kitchen and relaxing in the lounge by the fire in the evening. No phone or TV usage, we chilled by the fire with book in hand with happy cats sat at our feet. We will definitely return again one day :)
