Has so many different spaces to utilise, from an undercover braai, to an outside braai, to an indoor fireplace. Also multiple picnic spots next to the river. Had an amazing time :)

Jan was a wonderful host. My wife and I could not have found a better place to stay in Hermanus: the space is beautiful and the location could not have been better.

We had a great time and enjoyed the fact that the place was well fitted with everything we needed. Nice braai with clean tools and the complimentary bag of ice saved my life. DSTV for the Grand Prix and nice comfortable beds. Staff efficient and very helpful. The horses was a joy to watch! Would certainly try and visit again.

Absolutely enchanting! Our stay at this Airbnb was truly a unique and delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the quaint and utterly cute charm of the property. It felt like stepping into a storybook! Waking up to the gentle sounds of horses grazing in the nearby paddocks and picturesque views of rolling vineyards was simply magical. The setting was so peaceful and serene, a welcome escape from the everyday hustle. We loved wandering around and soaking in the beauty of the surrounding landscape. The house itself had a beautiful rustic feel that instantly made us feel cozy and at home. The thoughtful touches in the decor perfectly complemented the natural surroundings, creating an atmosphere that was both inviting and authentic. It was something truly special, a type of accommodation we haven't encountered before, and we absolutely adored it.

Aside from Jackie and Adrien's warm hospitality and availability (which is phenomenal as you can feel they really love their slice of heaven), the farm, the cottages and the sights are simply spectacular. We saw Sables, Zebra, Springbok and Wildebeest. Not to mention that on clear nights, the stars steal all of the attention. If you're looking for a peaceful exit from the hustle and bustle of the city without heading too far out Cape Town, this is the perfect spot for you. Everything is as you see in the pictures, if not better. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

What a peaceful stay! We enjoyed its quiet location, surrounded by the beauty of nature, blessed with gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. The little touches like welcome port, homemade bread, rusks and filter coffee was so thoughtful of our host and made us feel right at home. This stay is ideal if you want to get away from the hustle of a busy town but still have access to wifi. Thank you for a wonderful and restful stay!

This is a wonderful place to stay. There are so many thoughtful touches and you are never left without anything. Additionally, the hosts provide some local goodies (bread, olives, sweet treats) which really add to the comfort. My lil canine was more than happy and the yard is very secure - no unplanned exploring. I highly recommend a visit and will definitely return. 10/10

Look no further than Elsja’s place if you’re wanting peace, quiet, incredible views and to properly exhale! The unit is very spacious with a huge veranda to take in the scenic surroundings. It’s closer to town than we expected which makes the location ideal for exploring the village. Spotlessly clean, pristine, so comfortable and they’ve thought of every little item you might need. I wish we had stayed longer but we’ll definitely be back again!

My family and I spent a lovely weekend away at Hoogwater in Ceres to celebrate my birthday, and it was the perfect escape. The host, Madri, was incredibly warm and helpful, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. Her hospitality really made us feel at home. The property itself offers a true farm-life experience. It's a peaceful and tranquil setting, perfect for slowing down and enjoying quality family time. We embraced the outdoors and had plenty of opportunities to connect with nature and each other, surrounded by the simplicity and charm of farm life. The atmosphere was calm and serene, offering a wonderful space to unwind and disconnect from the hustle and bustle. If you're looking for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway where you can relax, enjoy farm life, and create lasting memories, I highly recommend Hoogwater in Ceres.
