House was ideal for family and pet dog. It is spacious and easily accommodated 8. Clean and warm household with easy access to beach and lovely walks. 5 minute drive into Cahersiveen Town. Would stay again. Thanks.

As we were arriving at 4am, Denise kindly upgraded us to No 1, because it was easy to access as right next to the car park. The house has been recently refurbished. It had everything we needed, perfectly clean, very comfortable beds, fluffy towels, beautiful views. The welcome pack of tea, soda bread and biscuits was very welcome as we were unable to buy supplies on the way as we drove through the night from Dublin airport. The drive was from Dublin was easy, the check in was easy, the house was perfect and our hosts generously allowed us to be relaxed about our check out time too, which was much appreciated. There's a shop and a hotel with restaurant moments away, it's a longer walk into Killarney but doable. It's a very beautiful part of the world. We were visiting relatives nearby so hope to return soon.

Dunquin was a nice peaceful place to visit! We loved visiting the Dunquin beaches and Rahinnane Castle! As for the home itself, it was cuter than I thought it would be… I was afraid it would look super rough since most of the pics were of the surrounding area. The upstairs bathroom did not have enough water pressure to shower, but showering downstairs was not a huge inconvenience.

The home was beautiful, all you needed was already available , Katie had left absolutely nothing to chance . Can not recommend this place enough

Denis is an amazing host. He took out time to meet us and gave some good tips and helped with all our questions. We loved the location. The sunrise from living room window is breathtaking. The place is handy with lots of nearby good spots. Kitchen is well equipped with all the cooking essentials. Sofas are nice and cosy for sinking in. Many bathrooms which is a big plus as we were 2 families. Big backyard and we enjoyed BBQing which we brought along. We felt 3 days stay was a little short and we could have spent more time. We will definitely come again.

I cannot recommend The Old Milking Stall (Tim and Barbara) enough!! I stayed there with my family for 4 days and it was more than we could imagine! Tim and Barbara themselves are so welcoming and helpful, they couldn’t be any nicer if they tried! They provide a thoughtful welcome hamper! And for their home it is gorgeous! So beautiful from the garden to the reading nook, it’s perfect for all! Their pet dogs being your friend is a bonus! If you need any help they are willing to do what they can from taxi advice to food recommendations! If you need a place to stay in Skibbereen, The Old Milking Stall is definitely the place to stay! Had a great few days at Sophie’s cabin! The cabin itself is exactly like the photos, super cosy and clean, with really comfy beds. There’s some really nice hikes directly from the cabin and the village of Allihies is just a short walk away with the beach just a little further but also easily walkable. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Beautifull tranquil place,spacious yet cozy appartment,Amazing garden not to be missed Very sweet owners ,loved the fact there was organic washing up liqiud,all very in tune with their guardianship of this little oasis. highly recommended
