Sugar Aisle was perfect for my family! The kitchen was fully stocked with every small appliance I wanted - meals were so easy to prepare with everything right there. The location was great and we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. The heated pool was a hit with the kids and they were in it whenever possible! They also spent lots of time on the 2 bicycles provided riding around the island. My family has been vacationing in OIB for 20 yrs and this was one of my favorite trips! I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Stephanie was incredibly responsive to any questions or concerns I had and the entire trip could not have gone better. I would highly recommend this as a great place to stay!

Janet is a great host. Very responsive and attentive. The place is immaculate. My little people didn’t want to leave. I would definitely recommend to others.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Erin’s Home for Labor Day weekend. We were there to celebrate my birthday as well as time as a family. The home was well prepared for our stay and the necessities needed were all available. It’s such a beautiful home and having access to a pool on the premises was an added plus. The homeowners also provided us a list with information to any questions we may have needed answered which was a nice touch. I recommend anyone interested in renting a home to spend with family or friends, to consider a stay here. You won’t be disappointed! The beach house was very clean, well organized and safe. We felt right at home and our host, Steven, was awesome! Would not hesitate to recommend.

To begin with, Alex was a great host, the communication and accommodation were fantastic. Responsive to our needs from an early check to a late check out. The house was a wonderful place to stay we had a large group of 12 and everyone had plenty of space. We enjoy the stay and also enjoy the amenities like the pool table, unfortunately we couldn’t use the pool because of the weather but other wise we enjoy our stay.

Had a great stay at Heather's place! Great location. Quick walk to enjoy the beach. Hope to make a return trip! Heather is a wonderful host!

The home beautiful and clean. Well equipped with what we needed to get out stay stared. The kids feel in love with the pool, I enjoyed the peace and quiet. Would definitely rent it again.

Il a pris soin que nous nous sentions à l’aise chez lui ainsi que dans la ville. Ses conseils et recommandations ont été très utiles pour mieux se repérer et profiter au mieux de Wilmington. La maison est charmante, très accueillante et pleine de jolies couleurs; on se sent comme chez soi. Tout est propre et il y a beaucoup de choses à disposition dans la maison. Le fait que nous puissions nous garer devant chez lui est très pratique! En bref, nous avons été charmé par notre séjour et par la gentillesse d’Alex, et nous avons hâte de revenir séjourner dans son logement dans le futur!

Such a very spacious and comfortable home. There was plenty of room to do the activities planned for our ladies getaway. The beds were comfortable and the walk to the beach wasn't long at all. There is paid parking a little closer if you so choose. Mr. Anthony is very responsive when you have an inquiry and was a wonderful host. I can't wait to book this space again for our next getaway!

Beautiful beach house. Clean, neat, and interacted with Salem with immediate response. Easy walk to beach. We had a great time. Would love to stay again in the future.

My family and I stayed and was a beautiful home we loved the backyard and the fenced in section for our doggy. very clean would recommend to anyone

The house was in a perfect location, easy access to beach. Loved the open floor plan and kitchen was beautiful and had everything we needed. Sherri was a great host and very accommodating. Just to be aware it has a significant amount of front steps to get in the unit so might not be great for elderly or anyone who has trouble going up and down stairs but we had no complaints

A Wave From It All was a perfect vacation. The views and house are pristine, peaceful, and clean. The accommodations perfectly housed 8 of us. The screened in Carolina Room offered plenty of seating and beautiful views. The beds and linens were super comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans and spices for cooking and beautiful dinnerware for entertaining. We loved the decor…it was kind of unique romantic-gothic-coastal-Victorian (I know a mouthful but if you see it you get it). It looked as though the owners had made it a hobby to collect beautiful original pieces of art. The house has a dock that we utilized for fishing, crabbing, floating, and kayaking. Under the house there are two kayaks, a paddle board, floats, chairs, skim boards and boogie boards. You can walk, bike, or golf cart anywhere. The hosts were by far the kindest and most thoughtful we have ever experienced. They offered excellent restaurant recommendations. 10/10 recommend!!! The island is beautiful.

We were impressed how comfortable her place was for us. We were moving from New Jersey to Leland and had a gap between closings and needed a comfortable place for an 8 night stay and it was absolutely perfect. Its a beautiful comfortable home and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Extremely happy with our choice of accomodations. Highly recommend. Beautiful neighborhood and pool area too. Just lovely.

We all love the house, the zone is closer to the beach which it is perfect. We hope to return soon because we loved it. It was very close to the beach and we could walk there. I hope to go for my birthday if is possible and available . Thanks to Taylor for all her help. She is very nice and kind. We really recommend to stay here . We had a great stay at Kolleen’s place. Loved the front screened porch to relax in and listen to the birds. Was very peaceful. We came down for Easter and to visit my son, who lives in Oak Island. Kolleen’s place was just as described and had plenty of room for my family of 5. We even hosted dinner, one evening, for 7 of us (plus 2 dogs) and there was plenty of room. The walk to the beach was not bad at all, just a little tricky crossing the main road (but doable). The bikes were an added plus. Would definitely stay here again.

Awesome place close to the beach. Ashley’s place is very clean and has everything you and your dogs need! There are tons of things to do within the area and Southport is only a 10 min drive.

This was our second stay at Reel Lucky! We have fallen in love with Holden Beach and it was nice to come back to a familiar place. Mark’s place is clean, great proximity to the beach and has everything you need. We especially love the backyard with the inlet and enjoyed fishing on the dock and sitting out on the porch at night. We would eventually like to have our own place at Holden beach but until then will choose Reel Lucky again and again. Thank you for another great stay!

Wow. Probably the nicest airbnb I’ve ever been to. The house is pure luxury with every amenity included. Coffee, cream, soap, shampoo, snacks, fruit, you name it. The pool is out of a magazine and I couldn’t believe it was all ours. The house is in an excluded gated community about 12 minutes to the beach. We will be back next year without a doubt. We had such a blast.

Lovely home and great hosts. Corinne and David were very warm, communicative and helpful. The home was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was quaint and in close proximity to downtown and local shopping/restaurants. Corinne and David provided great local recommendations and the kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with essentials. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would love to return!
