I have kept a simple clutter-free layout to promote comfort and coziness, with a touch of local art, filled with natural light and the sounds of local birds. The cottage is for anyone seeking privacy, nature, and easy access to all that Asheville has to offer!

The Last Minute Cottage is a cozy recently updated STAND ALONE studio in a converted 1940's garage! It is conveniently located 4 blocks from popular Haywood Road and all the West Asheville shops, restaurants, and bars it has to offer. Looking to get outside? The French Broad River, Carrier Park, and the Greenway are only 1/2 mile away. Easy access to float or stroll the river! The cottage is also conveniently located only 2 miles from downtown and just 1 mile from the River Arts District.

Welcome to our bright and stylish free standing carriage house on the east side of hip West Asheville! Our private 1 BR retreat with a queen bed and full sofa bed has fast wi-fi, smart tv, and a peaceful second story porch in the trees. Walk to top spots like Hole Doughnuts, Taco Billy, or Owl Bakery in only 10 mins or drive 5 mins to downtown Avl and the River Arts District. Perfect for couples, solo travelers, or small families who want a cozy, creative retreat near food, shops, and trails.

Modern Cabin Retreat w/ Sauna

This space was designed with love and care and the hope that all who stay here feel relaxed and connected to nature. We recently added a cedar barrel sauna that heats up quickly and is user friendly. Often we don’t see guests but I’m always available for questions and recommendations. We live "next door" on the same property with our two young sons. The cabin is located in a neighborhood, so while it hopefully feels removed from any hustle and bustle, there is access to many conveniences.

Scout’s Den Cottage, very close to Black Mountain.

Welcome to Scout's Den! A cozy retreat walkable to all of Black Mountain's amazing restaurants and shopping. This adorable garden studio is separate from the main house and has a carport with space for one vehicle. This is truly an escape! With no internet we encourage our guests to enjoy the natural beauty of the mountains and our small town charm. We do have a TV with a Super Nintendo and DVD player if you feel like staying in. We live on the property full time with our family.

This studio is in the privacy of a fenced in area with private entrance. Parking available. Enjoy Michelle's vegetable garden and flowers and stone patio.

Newly renovated bathroom! Located just one mile north of downtown Asheville. Very safe and walkable neighborhood. Steps away from an urban Greenway for dog walking and bike riding. The cottage is a separate unit with a private entrance. 400 square feet with a bathroom, kitchenette, heart of pine antique floors. We are two miles from the Grove Park Inn and four miles from the Biltmore house. The space is appropriate for two adults or one adult and one child.

Our detached, private, guest house is located on the SE side of Asheville! Easy/Quick access to all of the action and fun Asheville has to offer. We are located near I-40 with an approximate 10 minute/3 mile drive to the Biltmore Estate main entrance or the Blue Ridge Parkway (2.7 miles) and about 13 minute drive to downtown Asheville. Please be aware you will need to climb one flight of stairs to access the unit.
