Kick back in West Asheville in this newly constructed addition. The Hi-Top is situated a few blocks away from West Asheville's Haywood Rd business district. The bedroom suite includes a roof top deck, coffee bar, 48" TV complete with Apple TV and NetFlix, and mini-fridge. Indoor bicycle storage is also available upon request. Adjacent suite available for folks traveling “together but separate” and can be found on Air BnB as HayLo in Hip West Asheville: Walk, Bike, Ride! Yes, there is a microwave. Please note there is no smoking on the property. Stay in stylish comfort just steps away from West Asheville's hip & chill Haywood Road. 2 blocks from award winning restaurants & coffee houses, local shops, breweries and music venues. River Arts District and Downtown Asheville are minutes away by bicycle or car. Green belts and Riverbank parks are right down the hill. Easy access from the Highway & simple direct route from Asheville Regional Airport to our doorstep. Enjoy easy off street parking for one vehicle. Unload for your stay and unwind in this open, vaulted and serene bedroom suite. The bedroom has a queen size bed, 2 small chairs, writing desk, bedside tables, lamps and walk in closet available for guests. The decor is simple and thoughtful with clean designs and comfortable, high quality amenities. There is a private entrance to the space and an interior door that connects to the main house, which remains locked for your privacy and ours. Fix yourself a cup of tea or coffee at the morning bar and enjoy it on the second story deck, or perhaps an evening beverage under the stars or simply take in the mountain air. The room is furnished with a ceiling fan and 48" smart TV. The bathroom is large with a tile surround shower with double shower heads and a large vanity and mirror- great to get ready for those big days while in Asheville! Whatever the reason you find yourself in Asheville, if it's work, friends, family or outdoor adventure, restaurants, music, art galleries or shopping , I hope you'll choose to stay at the HiTop while enjoying your visit to Asheville. Traveling with friends or family? Message us and we can let you know about some units that are super close to ourselves well. Your available access is the entire suite and one designated parking space in front of the house that can accommodate one vehicle. There is covered and secure bicycle parking available upon request. Monthly guests are responsible for utilities. We are happy to share, converse and make recommendations to you anytime before or during your stay. We respect and honor our guests privacy and will only engage in conversation on an as needed basis. We are always here to help and facilitate your needs. The West AVL neighborhood is walkable / bikeable to The River Arts District, New Belgium Brewing, Wedge Brewing and the hub of West AVL's business district, Haywood Rd. Walk or bike, the bus stop is a 10 minute walk, $7 cab ride to downtown, driving optional! Please note that the unit is accessed by a flight of stairs. We do not recommend this unit for anyone with walking difficulties. Also, we are a family that lives in the house, so while we are especially conscious when we have guests, you may hear us in the mornings getting ready for school and work, at bedtime as well as moments of general toddler exuberance.

Roaring Fork Chalet Long Range Views Mt Mitchell

The chalet is a warm and comfy place to relax, cool off, hike/bike a trail or two, enjoy long-range views(elevation is 3,383 feet - Mt Mitchell is 6,683), listen to some good music, sip your favorite drink, and rejuvenate your soul. Roaring Fork Chalet has paved roads that are all well-maintained. The mountain roads are curvy, and the subdivision is steep in parts. No four-wheel drive is needed to get to the chalet except in the winter months. Dog accepted with/ prior approval (fee applies).

Snowbird treehouse

A 10ftx10ft treehouse built around a hickory tree with a wood deck. It looks over a creek 30 feet below. There are electric switches/outlets and fan/oil heater. Climb a ladder to the sleeping loft with a standard full size bed. The loft has a peak high enough to stand up under. Cook outside on gas grill. No running water but there's a drinking water dispenser. The bathroom is a composting toilet and outdoor shower with solar tank at the end of a 25ft path, adjacent to the treehouse.

The Bird House

I created a passive solar tiny house, with tons of south facing windows & beautiful mountain views. It's located just 4 miles from downtown Marshall & it is about 20-25 mins. from both Asheville & Hot Springs. There are plenty of outdoor activities nearby which include horseback riding, rafting/paddling on the French Broad River, zip-lining, hiking (we have more details in the host guidebook). Come enjoy a nice peaceful stay in this modern tiny home surrounded by greenery.
