Copper Mine Cottage

Copper Mine Cottage will be featured on Inside Selling Houses Australia New Beginnings as a follow up to the make over of my Church property in Ellalong, NSW. (Selling Houses Australia Season 16 episode 1). Built between 1846 and 1847 by the SA Mining Association and designed by G.S Kingston. The ‘Thames Street Cottages’ are some of the first buildings to be built in Burra, and are a fine example of some of the earliest residential buildings that still remains in South Australia.

Please note this is very open plan living designed on open mezzanine floors with shared spaces so it can be quite loud and privacy is not a strong point. Please note it is not suitable for young children or people with mobility issues due to the many stairs and open balconies.
