Welcome to Takumuna, our beautiful home on the hill. Come and enjoy a weekend, a couple of weeks or even a short term stay in the beautifully renovated 2 bedroom home. Takumuna is a 10 acre fully fenced property, with beautiful surrounding bushland, a safe place for kids and completely secure for your dog (or even horses).

Birchfield Chalet is located 10 mins drive South of Margaret River town. Close to beaches and 5 mins from Margaret River wineries Leeuwin Estate and Voyager. For nature lovers. Cosy and rustic, Birchfield Chalet started life as a traditional animal shed. Andy, the owner, converted it into a charming straw bale cottage. The wood fire will keep you toasty warm in winter and the excellent insulation of the straw bale construction keeps it cool in the summer.

The two large bedrooms have King sized beds which look out onto their own private tropical gardens. There is also Weber BBQ facilities. Keep warm or cool with a split heating/cooling system. The large modern kitchenette comes with complimentary tea, coffee, milk and chocolate. While the luxurious bathroom also has a tropical garden outlook.

The fully self contained Hacienda offers simple yet comfortable accommodation for 2 -3 adults or two adults and up to two children. The main bedroom has a king bed and bunk beds. Set at the back of our property, surrounded by native bush it has its own driveway and parking and is only 5 min walking distance to Dunsborough's town centre and another 5 minutes to the beach.
