Our family of six had an absolutely wonderful stay at Stefano and Alex’s place! The location was great being so close to many shops and restaurants, but what really set this place apart was the hospitality from the host and owner. From the moment we arrived until we departed, Stefano was very helpful and responsive. The first day we arrived, he helped with dinner restaurants at an AMAZING place nearby. Then, when my in-laws had a late flight on the day of checkout, Stefano did everything he could to make their additional hours comfortable. Like I said, from beginning to end, he was great! The unit itself was very comfortable for the six of us, including my wife and I, our 7 year old daughter, and three parents in their 70’s. The spiral stairs down proved to be a little tricky, but that was easy to overcome. All of the other amenities and little touches were very thoughtful, and we greatly appreciated the welcome treats and drinks. Highly recommend this lovely place!

We loved our stay in David’s apartment. Great spot in the middle of everything and a great place to bring a family. Having continuous hot water along a washer and dryer a plus. David was a wonderful host. Would recommend!!

While looking for a place to stay it’s often difficult to choose. If we had known how fabulous this place was it would have been a no brainer! We all agreed that this is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in on all of our travels. Massimiliano was a delight and so personable. He made excellent suggestions one being having a cooking lesson. If you have a chance ask for Francesca! The BEST! One last thing…we left with amazing recommendations for the next part of our trip. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! Stefano and Roberta are two of the most absolute intrepid souls you will ever encounter. Their hospitality and generosity is without equal. Smartly appointed and expertly renovated, this exquisite example of an ancient farmhouse sits atop a stunning ridge line with vast views and expansive mountain scenery inspiring and enchanting at every turn. Right in the heart of Tuscany, this spectacular piece of the Italian wonderland does not disappoint!

One of my favorite AirBNB experiences. Marco and Lorenzo were wonderful hosts - Lorenzo met us at the door and showed us around. We had a lovely bottle of wine and snacks as a welcome gift. The bedrooms were very comfortable, the living room quite large. The 2 bathrooms were a godsend, as I was traveling with my 18 year old niece, and she definitely enjoyed the privacy. We made good use of the washer and dryer, as we were halfway theough a 2 week trip. I loved every bit of my stay - not one thing I would change. Simply wonderful!

As a family of 4, we had a perfect stay at La Lucertola. Luisa and Colin were friendly, attentive and helpful from the minute we arrived to when we left. They were available on the phone throughout, if needed. The music studio was an incredible addition - we felt very lucky to have access to it throughout our stay. The accommodation is located up a narrow track, but this meant we had access to stunning views and wildlife all around. Although the pool was cold, due to the time of year we visited, it didn’t stop us using it a couple of times. The pool is perfectly located - overlooking Pisa. There was plenty of seating around the pool and, although other families were staying in the house next door, it didn’t once feel like we couldn’t use any of the facilities. Other great facilities worth mentioning - the pizza oven is such an experience - to make pizzas overlooking the tower of Pisa, in Italy, was incredible. We also had all the cleaning items and linen we needed too. Grazie.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub und ich kann diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen. Um sie richtig zu genießen, sollte man mit einem Auto anreisen, da sie inmitten der Natur und etwas abgelegen liegt. Das ist jedoch ein großer Vorteil, denn die umliegende Landschaft ist wunderschön und lädt zum Erkunden und Genießen ein. Sie bietet einen tollen Kontrast zu den Tagen, an denen die nahegelegenen Städte und Touristenattraktionen besucht werden.

Wir (7 Freundinnen) haben den Aufenthalt in der Villa sehr genossen! Das Haus, vor allem der Vorgarten und der Pool, sind wunderbar. Maria ist super! Sie hat uns sehr viele Tipps zur Umgebung zugesendet (auch die notwendigen Sachen, wie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten). Zudem wurden wir mit einem sehr feinen Kuchen überrascht und wenn man etwas brauchte, kam sehr schnell eine Antwort. Die Villa ist gut ausgestattet und die Umgebung wunderschön. Parkplätze hat es genügend. Einzig die Schlaglöcher und der Zugang zur Villa sind etwas herausfordernd - jedoch machbar!
