Huisjes in Camarillo

This is our 3rd time staying at Joseph & Kelly’s place! It is always a pleasure! They make you feel right at home and are willing to help with any need! We love this place and plan to return very soon!

This was our third trip to Darrell’s place in 2 1/2 years. We just can’t get enough! Each trip we add another night to our stay. We’re already checking our schedule for a trip back in October! This guest house is a tiny home, packed full of everything you need. We enjoyed cooking on the little two burner stove top, extra blankets for lounging around on the outdoor bed, mini fridge holds a lot, toaster oven, space heater for the chilly evenings, tv with cable and WiFi. Our favorite thing about this place is the feeling we get when we’re here. We’re instantly at peace. It’s calm and serene. We enjoyed working on crafts at the picnic table under the trees, listening to the deep wind chimes resonate throughout the property. Birds and other wild life are active and brought life to the experience as well as the flow of the many water falls. Darrell is really friendly, and generous. We’re so grateful that he offers this space to us to rent. Looking forward to our next visit!

We really enjoyed our stay at Dana's cottage. It was very clean and comfortable with a kichen that had everything we needed to cook great meals. The neighbors were friendly and it was in a great location for enjoing all Ventura and the surrounding area has to offer!

My son and I had a wonderful month in Smitty’s cabin. The cabin is located next to the valley. It is beautiful, quite, and very interesting. Without going out, we have seen many kinds of birds and played daily with Norman(Smitty’s lovely dog). We were glad to know we are not far away from deers, bobcats, and bears in the valley beneath us. We were also very touched by the warm hospitality given by Smitty and his family. The environment was very warm, friendly, and peaceful. If you love nature and enjoy solitude, this is absolutely your place!

We had a wonderful time and loved the house! It was extremely clean and well-outfitted. We would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a lovely home in a beautiful location!

Our stay at Linda’s place was great! Nice touches with hand written notes and snacks to welcome us. Absolutely beautiful garden and outdoor area. You can tell there’s a lot of care that goes into to the property. Inside was clean and the bed was comfortable. Would overall recommend.

MK is a fantastic host! Her place is in a wonderful, central location that allows you to easily get around LA which is saying a lot as LA can be a tough city to get around in. The home matched the description and photos. MK was very accommodating, flexible, kind, and responsive - thank you for a great stay!

George’s place was the perfect beach getaway! The house was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location can't be beat - just a short walk to the beach made it so convenient to enjoy the sand and surf. The host was welcoming and check-in was a breeze. I had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend this rental to anyone looking for an amazing beach vacation. Five stars all the way!

Wonderful stay. Wanted to get away from LA and have a nature focused time with my dogs. Felt right at home. Perfect little cabin!!

Unique little spot with amazing views. We were even able to get a bit of hiking in - Lisa gave us the inside scoop on how to walk from our lil trailer to the Topanga State Park trails. We spent some time in LA as well as Oxnard to go whale watching - couldn’t have been better situated to access all the good stuff and take some scenic drives (if you’re into that sort of thing). We are into that sort of thing. Well worth the money just for the atmosphere and nature (fell asleep to the croaks of the local frog population) though we didn’t see any. Comfy beds and restful sleep. Thank you!

My husband and I spent 2 days at Darryl’s beach cottage in Malibu. The house is beautiful and the location just amazing. It is simply lovely and you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Darryl was very helpful and responded in a timely manner to all of our questions. After spending the days in a very busy Los Angeles, returning to the beach cottage was the highlight of our days. And we were very happy with the choice we made. There is a whole foods market just 2 minutes drive away. The beach is right in front of the house. On our last morning we had breakfast out on the terrace and a group of 3 whales passed right in front of the cottage! Such an amazing thing to see from your front porch! We highly recommend staying here!

This was an amazing stay for my wife and I's honeymoon. Not only is it a 10 minute walk to the beach, but has quick and easy access to Santa Barbara and Ventura. Reina was kind, helpful, and was always available if we had any questions!

Perfect stay in Geraldine's cottage nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains. It was adorable! The house was clean, safe, comfortable and relaxing. Super close to Malibu and the freeway. Nice walk to the Old Place in the morning to grab a cup of coffee where I go to see some Peacocks. I will be back.

This was a nice little place to stay. It’s kinda secluded but very peaceful. I would recommend it to other people looking for quietness.

I had a beautiful getaway in Topanga. This cottage is perfect for a solo traveler, and it has a lot of personality! There's a feeling of peace and tranquility in the air, even with some roads nearby. I enjoyed soaking up the scenery outside, walking on the trails, and soaking in the tub.

This was a great gem and had everything we needed. George stopped by with some great recommendations for activities. Downtown Ojai is a few minutes by car. Hikes and meditation mount a bit further, but well worth it.

My husband and I had a great 2 night stay here. The house is super cute and clean. The kitchen was very nice and easy to use. The location is convenient, we were like 2 minutes away from all the awesome thrifting and coffee! Elizabeth is a wonderful hostess!

We enjoyed staying at Hanne’s place. The studio is cute, clean, and private. The back garden is lovely. We sipped tea at the table and chairs in the morning or sat on the grass. The location is ideal. A few blocks to great restaurants. Lovely teas are provided but no coffee, though there is a coffee pot. There are 2 single beds, so my boyfriend and I pulled the mattresses together on the floor at night to make one bed.

We loved the place and the beach close by. It was cold most days but we knew the weather in February is like that. The host was very helpful and responsive.

You will never stay in an Airbnb as beautiful or with a host as accommodating. Fari and Nina set the bar for what an Airbnb experience should be. Upon arrival we were greeted by Fari and his lovely wife Nina and made to feel immediately at home. We were lost for words for how beautiful both the location was and also the quality of the property's finish and all of it's contents (the kitchen is better equipped than our kitchen at home!) Fari went the extra mile to ensure we had the most enjoyable trip and were treated like family, as opposed to tenants, throughout the whole stay - whilst also ensuring we had all the privacy we needed. Fari ensured we felt settled in Malibu - providing local expertise and guidance to all the wonderful hiking trails and flora & fauna in the area and showing us the sites. Not forgetting the best daily smoothies! We are truly grateful to both Fari and Nina for having us at their home, and leave feeling like we've gained new friends for life. Until next time

We come to Ventura a few times every year for work, and we would be glad to stay here again!

Wir waren super zufrieden. Man hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt und die Lage war super. Nachts war es sehr ruhig da die Unterkunft in einer Seitenstraße ist. Die Unterkunft war sauber und es war alles vorhanden was man braucht. Parken konnte man direkt vor dem Eingang der Unterkunft. Für uns war es auch ein Pluspunkt, dass eine Waschmaschine und ein Trockner vorhanden war. Wir würden diese Unterkunft zu 100% weiterempfehlen 😊
