We desperately needed a vacation to just unwind and focus on family. At first I was reluctant at how remote the house was, but, oh my! This home feels like we had our own paradise. I could have skipped the beaches and just stayed there all week. It was peaceful and more than what I expected! At night we would sit out on the porch and listen to the birds. When it rained you could even hear it on the roof. It was heavenly! My daughter told me tonight that it’s hard to come back to a normal hectic life after being there for over a week. The neighbors are visible, but you have more than enough privacy. The house is far enough from crazy San Juan traffic and crowds, but close enough to the best restaurants and beaches. The host was prompt in answering our questions and giving recommendations. I am super picky about where I stay and I can say that we will for sure be back. Good job on hosting and you’ve got a rare diamond property in the best little neighborhood.

Our stay was wonderful. The surroundings were beautiful and the view from the main deck of the house was breathtaking. The pool outside was the best, we were in it every evening on our stay. Very helpful and responsive host. Our experience staying so close to the rain forest A+, we would rent again. Thanks!

Wilmel's place is incredible; the view from the top of the mountain is breathtaking. The house was exactly as described and had everything we needed; kitchen, laundry, pool, patio, tons of rooms/bathrooms, and TV. Wilmel gave us plenty of recommendations for local restaurants and places to visit. Our first time driving up the mountain to the house was challenging because of the narrow roads, hairpin turns, and steep elevation but we eventually got used to it.

We had a wonderful time at Casa Margarita. Joseph & Amber were amazing hosts and were very thoughtful and helpful through out our stay. From giving us little breakfast treats to accommodating our requests/ needs, they were truly astounding hosts. The place is described exactly as it was listed. It’s by no means is a modern place but gives local Puerto Rican house vibes. Having access to the beach gear: umbrellas, chairs, snorkel equipment etc were extremely helpful! It’s a small quaint little town and there is a small grocery store that is walkable.

Samuel’s place is so peaceful and in a beautiful setting. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and had everything we needed. We loved listening to the nighttime sounds. Sitting outside at night was one of our favorite times. If you want to be in a peaceful setting surrounded by nature, then this is the place for you! Highly recommend Samuel’s place.

We highly recommend a stay at Hacienda we Azucena! From the moment we stepped onto the property we felt like we were transported into our own private, tropical paradise! It was like having a resort all to ourselves! The home was very well maintained, and the grounds absolutely pristine. We enjoyed countless hours in the pool and hot tub, as well as star gazing each night. As soon as the sun would go down, the rainforest came alive and we were immersed in all the wonderful sounds of nature. There were a couple hiccups during our stay, which is to be expected, since it is a home in the middle of the rainforest, but Carmen and Jamie were immediately responsive, and had the issues taken care of very quickly! I cannot recommend this property enough, and when my family returns to Puerto Rico, we will definitely be trying to stay here once again! If you’re heading to Puerto Rico, look no further because this is the place you want to stay!

I booked this for my 23rd birthday with my friends and cousins, and it was beautiful! Lovely views, very safe since it was gated, loved the hammock, and just made our stay worthwhile!

Raphael’s home is absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we felt safe and comfortable—the location is peaceful and secure, which made a huge difference for us. The house is not only beautiful, but also incredibly thoughtful. Every little detail is taken care of—there’s sunscreen, mini makeup removers, and all the small touches that make a stay feel extra special. We happened to be there during a blackout, and Raphael was in constant communication, checking in on us and giving updates about when power might be restored. He even had flashlights and lanterns ready for us to use, which was such a relief. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. Raphael is a thoughtful and responsive host, and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back!
