High Country Cabin is a stylishly decorated cabin in the heart of the Southern Alps on the South Island of New Zealand. Inspired by the Backcountry huts throughout the area, it provides a rustic country-style experience. Situated 15 minutes outside of Twizel in the heart of the Mackenzie, it has direct access to all of the natural amenities that the area is world famous for including snow sports, mountaineering, hiking & tramping, mountain-biking, hunting & fishing among many other activities.

Te Ara Cottage Tranquil Retreat

Beautiful charming cottage with fantastic view. The cottage has a queen bed, a sitting room, shower, bath and toilet with own deck. Not self-contained but has gas burners, bbq set outside on the deck and microwave, mini fridge, kettle and toaster inside. Tea/Plunger coffee are provided. There is a walking track below the cottage and also more walks around here. We are located in Diamond Harbour, 20min walk to jetty that you can catch a ferry to Lyttelton, only 10min ride, beautiful journey

Relax, unwind and de-stress in the beautiful isolation with ever changing mountain views. A short 15 minute drive from Twizel, the cabin has easy access to all the natural amenities the Mackenzie Region is renowned for. Such as - cycling & mountain biking, tramping & hiking, snow sports, hunting and fishing to name but a few.

The Birds Nest is a secluded and boutique cabin nestled amongst the tree tops and away from other houses. This luxury hideaway provides the peace and quiet of nature, whilst maintaining close proximity to all that the city and suburbs has to offer. Some highlights include relaxing in our private hot tub watching the sun set, strolls along the banks of the Heathcote river, and afternoon gelato just around the corner. A private, peaceful retreat with amazing sea views & abundant birdlife. Just a short drive from Akaroa township (3km) & nestled in native bush, situated on 3 hectares overlooking Akaroa Harbour. Our queen room is attached to our home & is suitable for independent stays. Enjoy sea views from you room with a seperate entrance, your own bathroom, free wifi & SkyTV & private use of a shared outdoor spa pool. Please note : not suitable for under 12 years of age. Black Mountain Rukuruku

Black Mountain is situated in the foot hills of the Kaikoura Seaward Ranges and 6km North of the Kaikoura township. The home is designed for short and long term stays, is very private and enjoys a rural aspect. Bedroom, living, dining, bath and deck all enjoy mountain and garden views and it is possible to see the ocean from the surrounds. On arrival you will find freshly some freshly prepared provisions - probably enough for a little breakfast for two on me for your first morning!
