Artist’s Eco Cabin - The Nest

The Nest is privately located overlooking our farm & highlands. It's rustic & glamorous with small touches that make it unique. The Nest sleeps four (second bed is a double futon) & has full cooking & washroom facilities. It's equipped with a wood stove, fridge, BBQ, & solar lights. The outdoor washroom in the pines offers both an on-demand hot shower (summer only) & a composting toilet. The farm has plenty of activities for our guests to enjoy. N.S. This historic cottage features 4 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. Walking distance to a Provincial Beach & pet friendly. Bbq provided. Explore the woods, walking trails, listen to the ocean waves. Climbing ropes, trampoline, free range chickens! Enjoy the fire pit, water view sauna! Like many homes on the island, this is a very old, rustic cottage with lots of charm and the most comfy beds. If you’re looking for a hot tub experience check out 'The fisherman's cottage' a short distance away.

We are 30 minutes from the Village of Baddeck, home of the Alexander Graham Bell Museum and the and the Falls in rear Baddeck. Louisbourg is 1 1/2 hours away.
