It's the perfect place to retreat to after a day of hunting, pottery shopping, exploring the Uwharrie National Forest or going wild at the NC Zoo. Your time in Bigfoot's Backyard will be memorable!

This unique place has a style all its own. Set in simplicity with all the things needed for daily living. This cabin has ceramic tile shower, washer/dryer, 2 burner induction stovetop, toaster oven, microwave, pots/pans, dishes/utensils, full size fridge. The bed and tables are log with antler lamps, double rocking recliner. Everything you need for a getaway. Quiet neighborhood, back yard is fenced for privacy but open at driveway. Approx 18-20 minutes to Medical district and ECU college.

Legacy Farms Leisure Area

We aren't a self check in stay & our normal check in hours are 3pm to 8pm since we are a working farm. If you are looking at booking a longer stay & a night seems blocked, please message me to confirm that the night is truly booked. Legacy Farms has a 23 foot RV in its own little area on a 43 acre horse farm. All kinds of farm animals & activities to enjoy. Peaceful getaway yet close enough to civilization to almost be "glamping." (Disclosure we are well water which can have a sulfur smell)

Joey’s Cozy Camper - Kayaking On a Mill Pond

Camper is located on a Marsh/Pond (NC Bird Sanctuary) behind our home. We offer kayaking, bird watching, and fishing via the town dock or by kayak. SMALL DOGS (under 20lbs) only ok. $25 each. Please check that you are bringing a pet even if it is a service animal as we have pets as well. Camper sleeps two in queen size bed. PLEASE NOTE.
