I'll admit, based on the reviews our expectations were high. They were exceeded in nearly every facet of our stay. We desperately needed ( election fatigue) to get away and have a week of peace, quiet, and serenity. Danielle and Jorden's home was perfect. there was not one single time while staying there that we looked for something that didn't exist. The bathrooms and kitchen are fabulous, and all are very well appointed. The radiant floors in the ensuite bath were a nice touch. The location is ideal, you are right on the lake with wonderful views from both inside and out, and despite having neighbors, it feels incredibly private. We had one small mechanical issue which Danielle took care of immediately. they were a pleasure to speak with, and their response time was always nearly immediate. The locals were incredibly friendly, the supermarket is just across the lake, and there's a nice dog park for those bringing their fur babies. We look forward to a returning to this ideal spot.

I was lucky to come to Isabelle’s place for a family getaway. It was the perfect place for relaxing - it feels very remote and quiet, with tons of cute deer to watch in the evenings, a nice dock for watching the sunset, and a very cozy living space. The ferry rides were also a fun little experience. I was surprised at how many supplies they had stocked the kitchen with, enough for us to try complicated recipes. The latte machine (with milk frother) and complimentary coffee was also a huge bonus! Isabelle was always quick to reply and very helpful when we had any questions, before and during our stay. Definitely hoping to come back soon. Would highly recommend for a secluded and peaceful stay.

This was our second visit, and we absolutely love this property. The view of the amazing St. Lawrence (a river that acts like an ocean) has many beautiful faces. On a rainy day, we took the short drive into Canada to explore the Thousand Islands Scenic Parkway. On a sunny day, we went to Wellesley Island State Park - walked the perimeter trail. We saw great flocks of swans and no people. Aside from those excursions, we relaxed here. We love the deck and the grassy private bank for sitting. We saw a few spectacular sunsets (one might think you’d be looking north across the river, but from this house, it’s a dead western vantage). The kitchen is great for cooking light meals and the bed is perfectly comfortable with lots of pillows. So many birds chorus the mornings and the occasional river freighter added curiosity. We HIGHLY recommend.

This was such a phenomenal place to stay. The access to the river was lovely, and the entire house had so many great touches and details. The kitchen is very well stocked, beds and pillows so so comfortable. Location was fantastic and close to everything you need. I will definitely be back to stay here again !

Beautiful cottage. The SL River is right across the street and down the road a hop, skip and jump away, is a place to cool off. Lovely town with lots of nice little shops. About 30 minutes from Alexandria Bay if you are wanting to do the tourist thing with boat tours and castles. We ate dinner at The Clipper. Fantastic food, great service but you will need a reservation. Lorrie was very responsive to any questions we had. The cottage was absolutely spotless! Plenty of back yard room for our dog to run around and it's very quiet there in the evenings. We would recommend going here and kicking back. Thank you for the hospitality!

We had a wonderful stay at Jennifer’s home. The home was very comfortable and spotless, complete with all the amenities we needed and more. Jennifer was extremely responsive and a pleasure to communicate with. The home’s location made it easy for us to visit different towns in the area as well as catch the boat ride to Boldt and Singer castles.

We wanted to reconnect as a family before our daughter heads away for a few months of travel and this was the perfect spot. It’s such a beautiful cottage in an incredible location with incredible views. From mornings spent marveling at the sunrise over the lake to walking the trails, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We visited in winter and although we were warned there is no central heat, with the baseboard heaters and a wood burning stove, we were always warm and cozy - even at night. Chris was a great host and would check in on us to ensure we had everything we need. We’re already trying to decide when we can go back!

We got in late and the porch light was left on for us which was very helpful. It was very cozy and clean. Kid friendly. There wasn’t any clutter so we didn’t have to chase our kids around to keep them out of things. It was the perfect location in Clayton, close to everything. The house had everything we needed, it was a wonderful stay .
