We are absolutely thrilled to invite you to experience the magic of our unique treehouse accommodations nestled in the heart of the stunning Stamford NY countryside! Approximately 3 hours from the NYC. There are 3 private decks, hot tub, fire pit. The wood-burning sauna is $100 per session, if hosts are available to prepare it for you. Message for availability. The area offers outdoor adventure, including hiking through scenic trails, fishing, skiing, outdoor pools, farm markets, live music.

Treehouse compound, no cleaning fee

The rental includes both treehouses (toilet in each), cooking/eating pavilion (only cold water at sink) (outhouse nearby), outside shower (cold), firepit. Additional guests above the 2 included in per night stay are $30 per person per night up to a maximum of 11 guests during the warmer months and 5 guests total during the cooler ends of the season (June and mid Sept to mid Oct). Beds: 3 doubles, 5 singles. No pets allowed. Not ideal for very young children or people with mobility issues.

When staying at our unique resort you will not only experience and see many different types of rentals like treehouses, yurts, earth homes, and cabins but you can explore our wildflower fields, play with our goats and chickens, and observe our honeybee hives. While the seasons and nature provide, take home some honey from our hives, eggs from our coops and fresh maple syrup from ours and other local farms.

The treehouse resides on the locally famous Fernwood property. Our family ran a restaurant here since the 1970's. We no longer operate the restaurant, but the property is gorgeous. The treehouse is at the end of a road with a private swimming hole. Right out of the treehouse is the entrance to the famous long trail, plenty of hiking here. Also in town is the entrance to The Catskill Wild Forest. Hiking into Kaaterskill Falls is one of the main attractions here in town.

Our treehouse is one of the most sought after places for couples to reconnect with nature. Nestled in the foothills of the Adirondack Mtns. and just 9 miles from Saratoga Springs NY, boasting quiet solitude. The winding staircase leads to a sleeping area and covered porch. Also, outdoor kitchen, deck, fire pit and full bath just a few steps away. Please keep in mind that our treehouse is meant as a quiet retreat for 1-3 people.

Tree Haven

A broad staircase brings visitors 20 feet up in the forest clearing. Wildlife abounds and hiking trails wind throughout the property. First time guests will be greeted by owners and oriented to treehouse facility and the woodland experience. Guests will then be left to enjoy their privacy in this quiet, idyllic forest setting. Robes are provided for casual comfort to close out days and greet mornings.

Off-grid Riverbank Getaway

Welcome to the off-the-grid getaway! This tiny house is on stilts on the edge of the Alplaus Creek. If you want to get away from screens and tech, and enjoy tending a woodstove, this might be for you. Park in the marked spot near 41 Hill St and walk down the 500 ft trail. You can read by the woodstove, fish, write, have a campfire, or watch wildlife from the balcony. A canoe is provided.

Magic Forest Farm Yurt

Stunning, hand crafted yurt made on the property. This secluded, colorful gem is like no other experience. Tucked away in the foothills of the Catskills, our organic farm has miles of hiking trails and mountain bike paths to explore! We also have many friendly ducks, goats, peacocks, chickens, donkeys, a horse and the friendliest dogs in the world that guests can interact with.
