We are located 5 minutes from the trans Canada highway and between Shawnigan Lake school and Brentwood College.

Surfside is a contemporary home with fir floors, cedar ceilings and a wood stove for romantic nights. Relax on the deck while overseeing the ocean wildlife. Rosie's Studio is a very special place decorated with original paintings by the late Salt Spring Island artist - Rosemaria Behncke. This large, unique cottage/studio is situated on a 25 acre farm in the peaceful south end of beautiful Saltspring Island, close to parks, beaches, Fulford Shops and the Ferry Terminal. Relax in this quiet pastoral setting and enjoy the sweep of the ocean out to volcanic Mount Baker. We welcome families with children and pets. Update: Emily the duck has passed.

Wild Thyme Hideaway

This memorable place is anything but ordinary, come stay in our 1963 Double Decker London Bus! Sleep upstairs in a cozy queen bed or relax in the twin reading nook at the front of the bus. Downstairs you will find a full bathroom complete with a claw foot bath. We have an espresso machine, board games, puzzles and even an outdoor shower! On the deck you will find a BBQ and outdoor fire pit area for relaxing. Located on beautiful Saturna Island in a very private forested 1 acre lot.

A short intermediate private trail will take you down to the beach. The 560 square foot cabin is set back on the property, offering spectacular panoramic views of the Juan de Fuca Straight. Cozy up by the wood fire in this cozy 1 king bed cabin or have a bath in the outdoor tub and enjoy the breathtaking views!

Nestled in the trees, you'll find nothing but peace and tranquility, located a few minutes walk from the famous Kinsol Trestle & the Trans Canada Trail; a haven for hikers, mountain bikers & outdoor enthusiasts. We are a 5 minute drive from West Shawnigan Lake Park (lake access) and an 8 minute drive from Masons Beach / Shawnigan village, and a 50 minute drive from Victoria.

Mid-island, this rustic cabin is perfect for any couple (or small group) shacking up in the woods. Features a full kitchen inside, outhouse, outdoor shower, fire pit, covered porch & access to pebble beach trails, making this a magical retreat. Please note that while there is wi-fi at the cabin, there is no cell reception on the property, and many guests have mentioned that they’ve enjoyed the chance to unplug and connect with nature.
