Houten huisjes in Carp Lake

We loved staying at Navid and Julie’s place! It was a beautiful condo and setting! Very clean, peaceful and beautiful. We did have an issue with the driveway not being plowed when we arrived but Navid was diligent about getting that done. It was done later that night. We would love to stay again at this beautiful condo!

All I can say is WOW!!!! The property was even more beautiful in person. It was absolutely gorgeous. Katy really has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. It's luxury in a secluded slice of heaven. The property was meticulous. Everything was chosen with care and attention to detail. From the linens, the pillows, the towels...to the supplies in the kitchen. The coffee bar was great. The welcome basket was wonderful with a personalized note. The games, the kayaks and paddle boards and the views!! Just outstanding! All the lighting details..the bonfire pit..the outdoor furniture. Even our dog was thought of providing towels, bowls, poop bags. Katy was wonderful to work with. She was very clear and detailed with instructions and ideas on places to eat, things to do, you name it. She was very responsive and you could tell she really cared about our stay. The hot tub was a bonus!! Even the bathroom was gorgeous!!! We LOVED our stay!!!

Our stay at Dorene and John’s was perfect! We traveled the half hour to ski at Nub’s and enjoyed being in the private atmosphere of the cabin. The hot tub topped it all off! We didn’t want to leave!

The cabin was wonderful. It was very clean and comfortable. We loved the hot tub. Jack is communicative and accommodating.

Was a very beautiful and peaceful place in the woods. The hot tub was super clean, very cozy fireplace area, and the whole set up was just gorgeous. We had a really great experience! We also loved how they are stocked with all the essentials like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, q-tips, and everything you would need. The host was very helpful and responded fast.

N.M. was a wonderful host. Very helpful and responsive! The adjustable room temperature was great as each guest could set the temp to their liking, loved that. The house was cozy and the hot tub was an amazing bonus to our low key girls weekend away. We bumped into one of their neighbors on the private drive and they were very friendly as well. A great area in the woods while being close to town! We will be back!

Not only was this peaceful gem just like the listing. BUT the record collection and books are AWESOME!!!! The pet friendly fenced in back yard was spacious and well lit for our Great Dane puppy to run a frolic to her little hearts content. Cant build build a fire?(even though there was ample wood supplied)?? There’s a gas table top fire.. don’t feel like going out??? I made a homemade breakfast pizza and had all the cooking utensils I needed… I felt soo at home and at peace. And enjoyed a trip to Petosky and POND HILL FARM and the tunnel of trees. I JUST need to know one thing??? How much is rent, and when can I move in??

This AirBnB brought us such peace during our visit to the area. It was nice and quiet. The house is super cute especially when the fireplace is on - we felt very comfortable. The fencing is nice if you have dogs as well. Fire pit was very relaxing! Easy check in/check out process. Thank you for the welcome goodies as well. We found out that Kirkland popcorn is now our favorite :)

Our complements to Matt and Stacy. It’s a lovely little cabin. The location was excellent for the activities we planned. We were able to safely walk the dogs on the adjacent street and at the near by Aspen park where we also did some cross country skiing. Also only 9 minutes away from down hill skiing at Otsego Resort. The kitchen was adequately equipped for meal preparations. The beds and other furniture were very comfortable. In summary, it’s a very cozy, comfortable place to stay.

The setting is so idyllic and peaceful! The cabin is clean, well maintained and a fun place to hang out. We really enjoyed our stay and we hope to stay there again in the future.

Paula was extremely responsive and helpful! Walking distance to numerous attractions in a quiet, peaceful location. The Airbnb was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. Would definitely return!!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Peace Retreat. The location could not have been better, with Lake Michigan just a walk away, and the beautiful trails for easy walking behind the property. We loved the yard set up, with a campfire ready for us to enjoy, the hammocks, and little paths to enjoy the property. We loved all the extra blankets and quirky furnishings inside the home, and it was perfect for us to enjoy a mother daughter weekend.

Place was great! Jessica was very responsive and accommodating. Due to power outages (not at the cabin) and Mackinaw bridge closures we were not sure we were going to be able to make it. Jessica kept us up to date before our arrival and the trip was great. Comfy beds and a relaxing atmosphere, along with anything you might need to make your stay great. Very clean. We loved it and will be back again!

Penny was amazing! The cabin was perfect with everything we needed. We arrived way later than what we intended on due to traffic and Penny was in constant communication with us during our trip. She even left the porch and kitchen lights on for us since we were arriving well after dark. Penny lives right next door, so if we ever needed anything, it was taken care of almost immediately. She would even let us know when she was going to be gone for a bit so we were aware. I enjoyed sitting on the back patio each morning with my coffee listening to the birds and other wildlife. So relaxing! My husband and son took the row boat out a few times and went fishing. We even did a bonfire our last night there and made smores. Couldn't have asked for a better or more relaxing stay. This was the most adorable cabin in a beautiful, remote location. We appreciated all of the amenities provided (fire pit being set up and gas grill), along with extra firewood if needed! There were things provided we did not remember, such as marshmallow sticks!! Not To mention the most comfortable beds - this was so nice to come back to after a day of exploring. Additionally, we appreciated the recommendations for restaurants, sites to see, and grocery stores! While watching movies, we loved the tv speakers and Bluetooth speaker to listen to music while cooking. Diane and Allen responded so quickly with any questions we had and it gave us such peace of mind. The area itself is gorgeous and we definitely want to visit again! Thank you Diane and Allen!!!!

My husband and I loved this little cabin in the woods! Perfect for our relaxing getaway! We even imagined bringing our kids someday. We liked that it was secluded without being extremely far from good eating spots.

Liz was extremely communicative and responded very quickly. The property was beautiful and peaceful, quiet, and a great vibe. Looks just like the photos, pool was clean, living space was clean.

Such an adorable cabin. Everything is there that you'd need and more. Cozy, warm and inviting. We were in a predicament, and Erin came to our rescue. We couldn't have been happier.
